  4. Dear All, The III. WS Boogie in Hungary ended up with 4 days of beautiful weather, hardcore party, lots of jumping, ballon flights, and good comp results. Considered the number of the participants this event was one of the BIGGEST WS comp in the world, with 32 WS, 20 tracking and 20 naked tracker (only one short was allowed) competitor, with all together 46 people. All 3 competition days had very light or no wind, so the results show pure flight performances. The Pf Stealth2 could not be beated this year, close race between S8 and V1, unfortunately no Tony attending (got scared?-)) and good debut of Intrudair Supersonic. Congratulations for winners: 1-Pergar Bozidar-CRO, 2-Johhny Utah-USA, 3-Gabi Verebes-HUN (in WS), thanks for all for coming, hope you had a good time, huge thanks for BIRDMAN for main sponsoring us, hope to cya next year. Results and some pictures enclosed, more pictures are coming soon. Cya: Csaber
  5. Dear All Birds! One more week till the 3rd WS Boogie in Hungary! Get ready your wings, and yourself for 4 days of fun and hard party! We expect more flyers then ever, we offer free registration for the competition, free beer and wine tasting, balloon flight every day for 2000 meters. We are planing to work with 2 planes (L410) during the event (I still waiting for confirmation, so its not 100% yet). First year we offer prize money in CASH (not so big amount, but not bad for jumping) over other presents! We warmly welcome all wingsuiters and none wingsuiters, hope to see many of you! Csaber
  6. Heya guys, To clear things up, according to Hungarian regulations, holding FAI licence C needed to perform WINGSUIT jumps in Hungary for Hungarians. If you sign a paper at registration, which says your papers (includes reserve packing date) and experience fits the requirements of your OWN COUNTRY (includes the conditions for performing WS jumps) you are allowed to jump without FAI licence. ...btw I think having B for trackin, and C for WS is a good start level. dont think it is too strict. 8. In 2007, we also measured between 3000-1500, so the ratio was 2.2 last year. Trsitan ate beans this time or had some secret weapon, because we did not have so strong tail wind...I hope he will have some kind of occasion to celebrate next year too...to punsih him for his glide ratio... Intresting, that big surface suits beat speed suits like V or SF...ah, I know more about the pilot, but still... CS

    Fatality: Swiss Valley

Dear All, Please stop it, dont phuckin bullshhit and say stupid opinion untill you guys know the details from somone who was there and can inform the comuntity by fisrt hand. The guy who died this saturday (name: Zsiros Csaba) was very experienced jumper with 490 Base jumps and more than 1000 skydives. He was the champion of the first Hungarian Base contest in 2004. At the fatal jump from LM, he exited backwards, did his arial too long, and the time he started trackin was too close to the positive part of the wall. He started trackin, realized he is very close and pulled. He hit the wall during canopy inflation and probably died immedietly in impact. His canopy fully inflated, after the impact and he flied out to the landing, looked like his ok, but he landed dead. The guys who he jumped with were also experienced jumpers, with more than 100 jumps (dont know exactly but surely over 100). The slider down exit was done by one of them, beacuse to film the other guys durin freefall, after opening. All of them knew very well what they are doing. None of them speaks english at all, so who was there might misunderstood what they said on top and ground. The handheld guy was surely kidding with "first jump". Take everyone the consequence for himself, and please next time for everybodies interest dont say stupid theories untill you knew exatcly what happaned. He was a very good friend and amazing person. Everyone loved him so much. I cant find the word how deeply I am depressed, my heart is breaking. Fly free Csabi, you will be missed forever. Csaber
  21. As I know there is no local jumper there, but defentely bring rig with yourself! there are are plenty of nice buildings, with not so diffiuclt accesses. Better if you take a look around outside of the center but center also has some easy ones. Take care. Csaber
