Do you just hang around these forums to call people names? Never once did I say that I don't wear a helmet. I did say that I like having the choice. Then you return by saying that the gov should make the decision for me because I'm to stupid to make it myself. Maybe you should run for office.. Fortunatly I live in a state that allows me to make my own choice about this. You missed my point. People die everyday in accidents of all kinds from masssive head trauma. Your statement tells me that every single one of them were idiots because they failed to wear a helmet. By the way. Do you ride? And if you do, do you wear leather? I was always taught to dress for the fall, not for the ride. The people that need to rethink things are the people that wear a helmet but at the same time wear shorts and flip flops. Have you checked the statstics on how many people die of head injuries in car accidents, horsback riding, bicycling, etc. etc. By your statement I should be wearing a helmet in the shower. For your information Ive lost 2 friends in motorcycle accidents. One was wearing a helmet, one was not. Both died of head injuries. I'm not saying that a helmet is a bad thing, just that I take offence to that statement. People die everyday of head injuries in all aspects of accidents. There is an AN-2 sitting on the tarmac at Gallatin Field in Belgrade MT. I've never even seen it running let alone flying. But I'm sure it does from time to time. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

I remember the first (and last) time I jumped in winter without gloves. Feb. in Montana. First jump on my own rig. BOC instead of student rig with ripcord. I wanted to make sure I could feel my handle. 35 degrees on the ground and 5 at altitude. I pulled high for good measure. I didn't notice my hands being cold in freefall but once under canopy it was a different story. I had brought along a throw away instamatic camera to snap some pics under canopy. My fingers got so numb I couldn't even feel the button. By the time I got down i was sure wishing I had worn gloves. I now use the same gloves in winter as I do in the summer mainly cuz I know how things feel with them. My hands are the olnly part of my body that gets cold during winter jumps but just keeping the wind off of them helps alot. It is bearable. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

Electrolyte tablets taken with water. They contain no sugar and no salt. You can get these from companies like Zee who supply work places with their first aid kits and supplies. Man he just about took himself out of the gene pool. When I was a kid a friend of mine filled his aluminun, saucer shaped Boy Scout canteen with his dads black powder and touched a match to the spout thinking it was going to be a fountain of sparks. In reality nobody can stand the smell of a fart unless it is their own. Picture this. 2 people in a room together. They both fart at the same time silently not knowing that the other has. They both can sit there basking in their own glow thinking "that's not so bad" until they realize that it is not all theirs. Then it becomes rancid. I'm a huge AC/DC fan but that's alot of dough for a concert ticket. I seen them as a warmup band for Aerosmith back in 1977 and payed $8.00 for the ticket. Holy cow, The Rolling Stones came through here a couple yrs ago and tickets were only $100. Same with Elton John only 2 months ago. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

I'm 48 yrs old and Montana born and raised. My wife and I seen Glacier for the first time 2 summers ago. I was completely awestruck. Never seen anything so beautiful. I told my wife that if I had seen it when I was still in school, i would have moved there when I got out, went to work and remained there for the rest of my life. I hope that you are able to see it on a clear day so that your view is totally unobstructed. If you really want to be able to enjoy all the views, I would recomend taking the open topped bus tour over the going to the sun route and leave the driving to somebody else. You can also take the small hikes along the way. Have fun. It is definatly a site to see in ones lifetime. We will be going back soon. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

My daughter got in trouble for one thing or another when she was 3 or 4 and she was sent to her room. As she is walking away she turns around and looks at me and says "You really piss me off." turns back away and storms out of the room. It was all I could do to keep from busting a gut. He actually graduated valedictorian of his class. 4.0 grade average all the way through and never missed one day of school from the 4th grade on. I'm very proud of him. He still loses control. My son will be 25 this year but I remember one time when he was about 7 or so. We had just rolled into the driveway after about an hour on the road. (An eternity to a 7 yr old boy) My son jumps out of the car, runs out to the yard, does a dance, falls down on the ground and rolls over a few times this way then the other way, jumps back up and walks calmly back over to me and says nonchalantly, "Sometimes dad, ya just gotta lose control."
