stevorino, sorry I got you upset. I know you are a resonable guy, but for some reason you are defending a dz that is putting bad stuff on their web site and I dont know why. Of course we have seen worse, like skyride, but where do you call the line? Not the stuff you were doing with the sarcasm. The 2 STA stuff is bullshit. It is like saying you are safer if you use 2 condoms. how about this--- After you graduate from our 9 jump AFP Program you will be able to jump on your own and experience the thrill of flying. After this you can try freeflying(vertical flying), skyboarding, or even the new birdman suit. This is bad stuff.

raymond, thanks for letting us know about this dz's misleading advertising. Hopefully you are not doing this just be cause they are a competitor with your dzo, but whatever it takes. Sugesting that they are a skyride dz was probably not fair but again whatewver it takes to get people to know about ads that arent right. If nobody ever complains about this kind of thing then eventually dzs will be telling people they can jump out by themselves at 10 grand on their first jump just to get their business

Joel, no offense buddy, but maybe you need to do more reading and less posting. You don't seem to be too familiar with USPA rules, and you haven't caught on to the answer to your question, which was in this thread. I have been seeing a number of your quick replies all over the forums lately. I don't know if you are a newly rated instructor, or have just now gotten some magic number of jumps that makes you know everything, but....

Good point. Maybe a good reason that no one should ever consider jumping a wingsuit while doing a Tandem jump! (Sure it's been done, but maybe it should stop before someone gets killed.) The way some idiots are trying to invent "cool" new ways of doing Tandem jumps, maybe they should be told not to before they start doing it with students.

This is a shameful attitude, but we expect no better from someone who jumps at Cross Keys do we? Evidently Cross Keys is a carnival, complete with Tandem carnival rides. People say this fellow is a great instructor. For who? Only the AFF students? What about the Tandem students? Don't they deserve more than a carney jumping around over them looking foolish on video. Maybe Glen Bangs changed his mind about this foolishness since he worked at the Cross Keys Carnival. Maybe that is why he doesn't work there now. Have you asked him?
