  1. I have to drive 3 hours one way to skydive pa. its probably a good thing. if it were closer I might be divorced. HIGH SPEED NO DRAG
  2. I tend to lean toward the yuppie thing to. as the cost of things are always going up it takes a lot of money to learn this sport and get good equipment. at the end of the day though I still smell the doobies burning and hear the beer bottles opening. Don't get me wrong I think beer and doobies are good but never before I jump. I want to know that if Im ever in a situation that I have all of my senses about me. HIGH SPEED NO DRAG
  3. thanks for the info. I just hope mine dosn't break. if it does atleast I know I can send it back. Thanks again. HIGH SPEED NO DRAG
  4. I got a new gfx for christmas. I was just wondering if anyone has one and how they like it. I mounted mine in my helmet and built my own mounting system since I didn't have a helmet to accommodate the gfx. I haven't jumped with it yet but will be going up in about 2 weeks if the weather permits.. HIGH SPEED NO DRAG
  5. Flat packing is good but it means your canopy comes out of the bag at a 90 degree angle. pro packing comes out on heading . it also takes up less room on the floor. my spectre manual recomends pro packing. HIGH SPEED NO DRAG
  6. one thing to remember is your handles. with some full face helmets you cant see your E handles.I dont have a problem seeing them with the Z1 but dont take my word for it you have to find out for yourself.. HIGH SPEED NO DRAG
  7. I agree! As an experienced skygod, it is my duty to size up and cut down newbie 100 jump wonders. It is similar to a hazing ritual. I want them to know that I’m watching them. Just hoping they make the tiniest error so I can jump all over them about it! Sometimes my behavior causes newer jumpers to quit the sport or visit other dropzones just to avoid me. If this happens, I usually find out where they are jumping. I then assign a local skygod to harass them so they can break their spirits also! It’s quite fun, and it’s all in the name of safety. UntamedDOG Im not sure this is the way to go about things either. I thought we were supposed to be promoting the sport instead of pushing people away. I also think this kind of an attitude is a safety issue in itself. It's hard enough to overcome your fears in the first place let alone someone jumping all over you. I guess common sense isn't common. HIGH SPEED NO DRAG
