  1. The main reason is the cost. Porcher is a French company and the shipping and taxe and duties are an important variable in the cost of this product. Its the same for EEC manufacturer importing US fabrics.

  2. It is not mandatory anymore.
CYPRES Maintenance turns from mandatory to highly recommended
After 25 years of experience and continuous product improvement Airtec uses its possibility
to change the maintenance for new CYPRES from “mandatory“ to “highly recommended“.
For background, circumstances and concrete decision please read the following text.

  4. EASA is not in charge of sport parachute since 2006. Its Under the regulation of each EEC country to set their own rules. So except France which have an agreement with the FAA, none, or almost none, of the EEC countries can get a TSO.

  6. Hello,
this will change nothing for sport and tandem parachutes because the EASA isn't in charge of these sport and tandem parachutes since 20006 when they denied to have them under their scope....They only care of emmergency parachutes.

  7. Sorry but I go on this discusion because I have another problem to be submitted. How long it takes to Alti 2 to fix Ruggedized N3? Last year it takes 9 months to have them back, this year it is already 5 months since they have been shipped and your UK facility is unable to give any feed back us. They just say, "we e-mail the US"...... This is not serious at all.

  8. I wish its because the container can fit different canopy sizes. Up to the canopy you set the closing loop to one of them (smaller-bigger).
