I do know there was risk involved, but we did keep our cool, didn't act like prey, and kept our eye on them at all times. For the most part they ate our rish, one did push me out of the way, and another one did try to eat one of the freediver's camera. We all came back safe and sound! Hey everyone, so I know this isn't skydiving related, but it's adventure, my favorite topic! Proud to be a dork... continuing on... In the article by Dr. Ross, he explains that because of the mass of the universe we have a comfortable place to live. If the universe was smaller or larger we would not have what we have today because of the 4 forces acting upon it. That is a very viable point and here is a sidenote of other studies. Some say that the earth is only at the bare bring of existence. They say it is barely large enough to have plate tectonics, and without plate tectonics life as we know it would not exist. The movement of the plates allow volcanoes to erupt and for carbon dioxide to be released into the air on a life vital cycle. When they looked at larger rocky planets than earth, the carbon dioxide was more vigorous and allowed for more life.. yet if humans lived on one of these more larger rocky planets, the gravity would not suit our way of life. Very interesting. Now the Bacterium Flagellum, explain that one to me. Sorry I'm getting off topic from the above article, but the Bacterium Flagellum definitely shows me that we are not here by chance. Having a full operating motor in our body is pretty amazing. It was stated in the clip that, There are 525,600 minutes in a year (Thank you Rent). If you convert that to seconds it is 31,536,000 seconds in a year. If you divide that number into 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 seconds it shows the universe is 31,709,791,983 years old. Yet the data derived from Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe, which is where NASA receives its data shows that the universe is approximately 13.7 billion years old which is stated at a 1% error. Not 31.7 billion years old. Where is Dr. Ross receiving his information and where can he back up this figure? Just curious... I'm not done reading yet. This just stood out.
