  1. yes, the earth will heal. After the coral dies, and we cut down all the trees and burn them, and fill the atmosphere with co2. The percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere falls about 50% and we all die from hypoxia. After 10,000 or 50,000 years, the plants will overgrow and devour every trace of our ghost cities. An earth ruled by cockroaches and those damned weeds growing in the cracks on my driveway that resist even "roundup". The only thing that will save this planet is the extinction of the human race. Unfortunately, we are such a short sighted bunch of monkeys that we will never see it until it's far too late. We always knew the earth would take care of itself. The real question is, will we be around to see it? Perhaps when the majority of our species graduates from "short-sighted-shit-throwing-monkey" status, to fully rational human being, maybe this won't be an issue. I'm not holding my breath. Part of me hopes we do go extinct. It would be a fitting end to a pompus, self centered bunch of shit-throwing monkeys that thought they ruled the earth. Any of you armchair climatologists have anything else brilliant to say to discredit the hundreds of years of work of thousands of scientists that do this shit for a living?
  2. When I was in Basic, they gave us "stress cards". It was a card you could use like a get out of jail free card if you felt to stressed out. Only one guy ever used his in our class, and they made the rest of us run circles around him. We beat the shit out of him while he was sleeping. I bet he was a lot less stressed about the Drill Seargeant the next day, and a little more concerned with giving 110%... I thought the whole "stress card" concept was a little frisco from the get-go, but what the hey. Yeah Basic sucked, but it wasn't that bad... The food was great, 3+ hours of sleep every night, and they let you get drunk/laid halfway through your 16 weeks. Better then college!
  3. I guess when your whole staff pleads gulity to felonies and agrees to cooperate with the prosecutors, the whole "I'm innocent, I swear" argument falls apart... My mom told me that it is rude to say "I told you so", so I won't. I do recall a long, heated argument with some republican "dead-enders" in this forum about Tom Delay and the rest of his crimminal buddies... I knew it was going to be a good day when it heard the news, then I got 3 job offers for (80k, 80k, 65k) the same day. Man, its been a good week. Can you say "Republican Bloodbath"? Pass me a corona...
  4. And why do you still like Bush? Do you read the newspaper? Do you own a TV? It appears that you have internet access... Have you checked your fav news site recently? Whats to like? Name one thing that Bush has done to make our country better. And please dont insult us with the "making america safer" B.S.
  5. Gee thanks for speaking for me... ALL is not the word you might have chosen when you realized there are many of us who have served and have been shot at... so please on that last quote don't include me ok? I would really appreciate that
  6. No. I thought we went to war in Iraq because Saddam was developing Nuclear weapons? The secretary of state Condolleza Rice said "we don't want the next warning to be a mushroom cloud"... Colin Powel said "mushroom cloud", Rumsfeld said "Mushroom cloud" and George Bush said "He is buying Uranium from Niger" (which was later proven by Joe Wilsons OP-ED in the New York Times to be a bald faced lie). We went to war to stop Saddam from developing Weapons of Mass Destruction. Remember? That BS about "liberating the people from tyrrany" was some shit Carl Rove thought of right before they gave up the hunt for WMD... Remember?? The change in Rhetoric was subtle, but it was there... Do you have proof that they are supporting terrorism? Or is that what you heard on the TV? If we want to go after the real sponsors of Terrorism, lets take over Saudi Arabia... Before we commit more troops, I would like to see some Photos, some real evidence. The whole "Trust me" thing didn't work out so well last time... Christ, at least I hope they make a PLAN this time. They can turn the whole middle east into the next State of the Union "East Texas" for all I care... Just have a real plan, and tell the American people the truth... Thats all I ask for.
  7. Let's give up when we get to 2,000 dead American soldiers. Oh wait, we are at 2,500 now... I say we pull them out now (by Friday night) "vietnam style" and "Oops, sorry my mistake" to the Iraqis. Screw them anyway. What have they done for us lately? Let them devolve into civil war. Maybe if we turn Iraq into a big experiment in "survival of the fittest" we can finally prove to the bible thumpers that "Natural Selection" and "Darwinism" aren't just crazy ideas dreamed up by a devil worshipper. They work consistently in real world scenarios... When to leave? It really depends on who you ask... People are so politically polarized (here is the SC especially) that it becomes a pissing contest between the reds and the blues. Since the GOP is incapable of admitting that they made a mistake, I wouldn't look for a draw down any time soon. The turning point for me personally was when I found out that Bush Inc. intended to attack Iraq for years before 9/11, and 9/11 (mixed with a healthy dose of fear) was just the excuse he needed to sell it to the gullible American public. They knew all along that there was no WMD, and Cheney pushed and pushed to try to sell this war. He went to the CIA like 20 times trying to establish a connection between 9/11 and Iraq. He couldn't. He tried to make Saddam appear much more dangerous than he really was (weak intel on aluminum tubes, lying about Saddam buying uranium from niger). It was all a fabrication. From day 1. For those of you that don't beleive everything I say, do some research on "the project for a new american century" a.k.a. "PNAC" and "the downing street memo". Check your facts on the "cia leak", "yellowcake uranium from niger". While your at at, find out much much money Halliburton (Cheney was the CEO a few years ago, and still gets a paycheck from them today) has made in Iraq contracts since the war started (heres a hint: $12,400,000,000.00, yes $12 Billion, 400 million dollars) By the time this became known (to me), we had already lost more than 1,000 soldiers. Beleive it or not, I AM NOT an overly political person. I rise to the occasion. Once we have dubya and his criminal cronies gone, I will resume my life as a meek and disinterested independent. And for you GOP retards that want to jump in and try to pick apart my argument or attack me personally, go ahead. You could measure how much I care about what you think in "nano-give-a-shits." Everybody is a war-mongering republican till they are the one getting shot at (or actually serving in the military). But when that first bullet goes wizzing past your ear, your suddenly a "diplomat", "war is not the answer"... What a joke. Cheers,
  8. Wow, sounds a lot like "draft". If somebody wants my son to do public service, maybe they should offer him a fair rate of pay, and he will consider it. Otherwise, f**k off, uncle sam...
  9. Your GF score is 82. Free Thinker Welcome to the top 5%. You're a true free thinker and a person who is well informed about the reality in which you live. Although you may have been easily manipulated earlier in life, you eventually gained lucidity and developed a healthy sense of skepticism that you now automatically apply to your observations and experiences. You are endlessly curious about human behavior and the nature of the universe, and you have one or more lifestyle habits that most people would consider odd or unusual. You are not only of very high intelligence, you are also extremely creative in one or more areas (music, art, software development, inventing, etc.) If you were in The Matrix, you would have taken the red pill, completed the combat training, and started fighting (and beating) agents from day one. Your architects: You have cast off reality distortions taught to you by your parents, schooling, corporate advertising and government propaganda. You create your own beliefs based on what serves you best, without much regard for what the rest of the crowd is doing. You are guided by your own internal code of ethics (which may or may not agree with politically-correct ethical codes) rather than any pre-set system of ethics (such as from any one religion). If you have seen my posts, I wouldnt have had to fill out a questionaire to make you believe it. Damn, they save the ADD question for last. Are they trying to be funny?
  10. Thats it. I am moving to sweden. The chicks are hotter there anyway.
  11. "Chappa", "Qhapqua" Uh, no, I don't beleive I can... What does it rhyme with?
  12. What nonsense. People write about the likes of Billy Fiske, Alvin York, Guy Gibson, George Patton, Jimmy Doolittle... without the consent of their relatives, with great regularity. and then there's the Wall in DC. 50,000 names. I agree. Show me the precedent that says you can't use the names of dead soldiers. I would post a picture of a dead American Soldier that has been blown to bits by an IED (I have them) but you vomiting on your keyboard would probably get me banned. War isnt pretty, hiding it from the public doesnt make it any prettier (see attached photos), just easier to "sell" to a bunch of gullible-ass Americans. The real ploy here by the GOP is to minimize the coverage of the "war dead". Bush banned journalists from photographing the war dead at Dover AFB as they arrived home from Iraq, even though this was a common practice since the Vietnam war. Most americans are so involved in their own lives that if you don't put it on the front page or on their cell phone bill, they don't care. So it becomes a talking point about "how dare we use the names of the soldiers". I am sure they are glad thay they are on our minds. The soldiers would like for us to think about them, and debatethe best course of action we should take as a nation. Trust me, I know. Cindy Sheehan irritates the republicans because she is a constant reminder that we have friends, brothers and sons being blown to bits over there every day by IEDs, and it just goes on and on "for as long as they are needed" It is bad enough that whole whole basis of the war turned out to be an intelligence "error", but now we have close to 2,500 dead, and we will probably be there at least 2 more years. Its a pointless war based on lies and bad intel. Admit it, Republicans. You fucked up. People are getting killed for nothing. Why attack Saddam now? He has been in power 30+ years, doing the same thing... Lets admit the real reasoning for the war, and move on to some real dialog, so that we can get our buddies home safe. Enough partisan "Cindy needs a bullet" speeches. "Mindless bravado" got us into this mess. Lets try to "think" our way out of it (for a change).
  13. Great Point! Don't you mean "insurgents" or "terrorists" though? It makes it a lot easier to hate them if we don't call them "Iraqis" or "Iraqi Citizens". It doesn't look good for the administration when we have "Iraqi Citizens" blowing up our Soldiers, but "insurgents" kinda puts them in their own category... I wonder if the King of England called us "insurgents" back in 1776... It all depends on your perspective I guess....
  14. United Small Penis Association. I can get some cheap bumper stickers already. Congrats. You won the "I burst a blood vessel in Paul's head" award.
  15. Yes. Don't think you won't because if you do, you are deluding yourselves. Consider yourself lucky if you only pay $500.00. I pay $1,032 a month for one little persistent sperm that was a "hard charger". Yes, thats $222,912.00 over a period of 18 years. What the hell, it makes me feel like a real stand up citizen knowing the little guy isn't wasting away or eating leftovers out of the dumpster behind the Kentucky Fried Chicken. At least his mom could have named him "ferarri" or "lamborghini" or something cool like that... Want some advice? Stay away from tequila and wear a rubber, you horny bastards!
