FFPM, Grasshopper doesn't think you exist. The Shark knows ya jump at Per-ass, butt we jump El Snore so we never see ya. Comin' over to prove him wrong??? BTW, did my NIGHT jumps on Friday the 13th, with jumpsuit and a British chick... The water's warm! Shark

Hmmmm... My DZ only has 2 types: Skydivers & whuffos... and in regards to the CReW, RW, & Freefly types, we tend to inter-breed so as not to let one group dominate the other. It also helps to bring in new genes from different dropzones and/or countries.

Today was the 6 way scramble. 4 dives with the last dive flow not given to us until we were in the plane. It's really challenging dirt diving in a plane full of Brits.

So the Shark rolls outta the rack around noonish after playing with the kids at Otay... and yes, the Merlot contributed to the coma. The first jump wasn't till 2ish which consisted of 6 way. The next two were an 8 way & 13 way speed star. Blew off the sunset load after I was cajoled into the night skydives which I learned about only hours before. Full moon? What moon? Don't need it. Yes, it was my first, and the first for 8 others from the UK. We got our 30 minute call around 830 and were airborne around 9. Our firsts, the me and 8 Brits, were solos from 7 grand. Dove out head first, and it was the longest, coolest, 25 seconds of freefall! I landed 5 yards from the peas. In fact, that was my most accurate jump in a week! The second jump was from 13. (ya know, Friday the 13th?!) Me and RJ launched a 3 way rw dive with our British hottie, Erica. It sucked as the outside rear float, but we launched a not exit, geeked for a bit, then spun right, then left, then right again before break off at 5 grand. It's hot, just sitting in the canopy checking everything out...just hangin out with the brakes stowed. Made my approach and buzzed the cars the illuminated the landing area and did a nice swoop in to a soft landing. (No, I didn't hook it in, and yes I used the front risers.) Everyone's gotta do this... I think you need it for a "D". BTW, WhiskeyChick & T1, you guys missed the Shark's Combat RW & CReW tapes at Bunny's...maybe next time?? Black skies!!! Beware... We are confirming reports of a shark attack at Otay yesterday. Two skydivers, identified as T1 & Whiskeychick were chased through out their skydive. The third jumper was not seen, allegedly.

Great post! I read the other as well. We even give quick checks before the door opens. FYI, you probably know that a lot of BPA skydivers are at Elsinore for the next two weeks. Anyway, a few of the college kids were injured. I believe they were in AFF and S/L students. One today was more serious and I hope all is going well.

The first of the month a very large group of skydivers from the UK arrived for some AFF, 4 way skills, and the SSL at Skydive Elsinore. It was pretty cool to meet a lot of our friends across the pond. Other than Saturday, (rain) everybody had a great time. And from looks of it, many will be staying through Easter Sunday. Welcome to SoCal skydiving! Shark BTW, where were you UK guys at????

BFK, Dude, that was very nice, and congratulations. I used to live in the East Bay and work in The City. Did my AFF at Davis and completed 15 jumps before I moved back to SoCal. Congrats again!
