  1. See RiggerGreg's post.... Opened, mal, low cutaway, no reserve.
  2. I was there....my load, but not my group. I'd rather not say and/or speculate, although I've been privy to some info. It was very disturbing. No RSL, No Cypres.
  3. So those without a Cypres, does anybody have an RSL? A guy died today at Elsinore. Had a Mal, cutaway...... didn't have either. Go count the pieces. Personally, I don't give a shit weather you jump with one or without. Just don't brag about it in a public forum. It's a safety issue, and a personal decision.
  4. You will make it more believable when you EAT the stuff!

    fall rate

Whoa, so does that mean you get more FF time in the same altitude? Musta been an interesting 8 way. I'll have to say that I really had to dive and arch to catch you in a sit!

    fall rate

Got it on my ProTrack...Okay, so I laid base on a 22 way with the Brits. Ya know how it floats. So, how bout 115 half naked (gym shorts and t-shirt). And 113 on a 4 way skydive?! Dunno 'bout Monterey... On Memorial Day? The last recon encountered fog & haze and ended up jumping Hollister in the AM.

    fall rate

WC, Sounds like you're experienced in these 3D skydives. BTW, got this new tight-ass RW suit from FliteSuit. I can fall 109mph (exit wt. ~190lbs.) in this new suit so I know it's not the suit that makes you fall faster. I'm sure it helps having different materials, etc. but it's body position and flying your slot.
  8. You Brits amaze me.... I guess with that attitude they all ended up at Elsinore! Keep sending them over because the Shark and friends will show them some good 'ol SoCal comfort. We'll accommodate all the British chicks, licensed or not.... PS> We don't discriminate based on age! Besides, remember the closing flap sequence: BTRL?

    crw coach

In VA there are some retired SEALs that teach CReW, but I'm not sure at which DZ. I'll check with my coach, Elite Frog Team member/former Leap Frog to get some names for you. L8
  10. Gee, aren't there many CReW dogs out there? The Shark is only a CReWpup, low-time crew dude. My suggestion is to pull/open really, really high, wear long sleeve shirts and sweatpants or jeans to prevent line burns, an extra set of shoes (doesn't matter if they match cuz you'll lose one), a chest mount alti and a big-ass hook knife. Oh! and some tackified gloves so you can grab lots of canopy, preferably a PD Lightning. So what kinda stuff did you do? Shark CCR-2113 BTW, Perris will be hosting it's 3rd Annual Crazy CReW Weekend on June 9th & 10th.
  11. Jez, Try checking with BPA or somebody at your local DZ. We've had several groups of Brits this year at Skydive Elsinore. Most are experienced jumpers but they often bring a lot of students train as many are also AFF jumpmasters/instructors.

    Monterey

So how was Hollister? $18 to 18k? or $15 to 15k? Figured you'd settle for the hop n pop anyway.

    Canopies

My only advice is to get a SPECTRE. You won't have to worry about getting wacked. I have a dozen jumps on a sabre and had the end cells closed on 2 jumps. The openings were okay, but not as nice as a spectre.

    JKA buys Heines

Dearest JK "A" licensed chick, Now that you do have the license, you NEED to jump! You sure you wanna jump the Frankenrig?
  15. Whoa... Someone say somethin' 'bout Margaritas??
  16. Yeah, I particularly like the columbian roast.... or is that french roast? Are we still talking about coffee? Bet the Starbucks are a little different. Don't worry, the Shark never inhaled.

Hmmmm.... what issue was it??? Maybe I should start reading the articles now. Shark

    Monterey

Did somebody say, "Rocky Point?" I may take the 25 minute road trip to "Perris" instead. Looks like the Shark is staying close to home....after all, whose gonna take care of the British chicks?
  19. Skybitch? Hmmmm? So does Skybytch from Perris know bout this? You know, can't get used to the colours, or the flavours from the UK. Okay, just me being neighbourly... Black skies, Shark

    JKA buys Heines

If PLFXpert's analogy is correct, you should already have your "C" cups (I mean license!) So now we can do that nakie 2 way legally. Do we have to wait for Cinco de Mayo? xoox

    JKA buys Heines

JKA has done a first.... and yes, she bought beer in green bottles. Unfortunately, she hair'd out doing her first four way with Shark and friends, even after she tried on the Frankenrig, Bonehead, and bigass Altimaster II.

    Perris

That would be at Elsinore. It's not so much a boogie as it is an educational type of thing. It's on June 2nd & 3rd. June 9th & 10th is the Crazy CReW Weekend at Perris.
  23. Hey Pammi, Thought we were talking about packing???? Shark
  24. Albatross, Gonna be there for the 3rd Annual Crazy CReW weekend June 9 & 10th? ...and after the CReW they got NIGHT jumps! I'm planning on getting a night 4 stack and I also need the CCS. I'm there fer shure. Until then, I'm at 'Snore... Black skies, Shark

    Night Jumps

Jason, Read my post "Night Jumps at Elsinore". It IS incredible. Like flying through space. No moon, either.
