Best rig around in my opinion. Rig comes with a lot of features and options. Spacer foam is extremely comfortable. Flaps are secure in freefall and never open prematurely. AAD is located under the yoke and reserve flap which forces you to check your reserve pin. Best of all, SKYHOOK! You will never know until you experience it. Try an intentional chop during a demo day with UPT. Amazing option and a must.

Great Canopy for the skydivers that are serious canopy pilots. Great soft on heading openings, light riser pressure, and powerful flare. High wind loadings are not need to fly this canopy. I'm loading at 1.4 and get plenty performance out of it. Make sure and practice plenty up high before bringing it lower. Very ground hungry! Not a canopy to take lightly. Get approval from S&TA before attempting to fly.

After jumping every Sabre2 and Spectre from a 230 to a 170, I tested out a Pilot. It's openings are very soft and on heading. First time flyers of this canopy need to practice flares, stalls, and flat turns up high. Some people I've talked to did not like the pilot's flare. The reasoning was because the steering lines were too long and they were not able to get a full flare on landings. Instead of checking the flight characteristics, they trashed the canopy. If you are able to stall the canopy, you should enjoy the flight characteristics and have a great time under the canopy.
