  1. It is with sadness that I have to inform you all of the death of Alexey Lotashev. Many will remember him during the 1990's as camera person etc. He leaves his son Dimitri. I attach the e-mail received. Hello Santie! Excuse that I held all this time you ignorance. Unfortunately I did not have time to check up mail. Funeral took place on Tuesday, on orthodox ceremonies. At me all is normal. Is glad to hear, that so much people have responded on it to mountain. On orthodox ceremonies of the person remember on the third, for the ninth days. But they have already passed, there is a fortieth day, after which shower leaves us. Readout is conducted including day of destruction so all of us we can remember and will say goodbye to it. And the original one in Russian Здраствуйте Santie! Dimitry can be reached at: [email protected]
  2. Has anyone tried out the Samsungs latest version the VP X1 10L yet, this one has a 1G on board memory and a lot more features than the previous model. I am a normal flatflyer and just want to use it for instructional dives without the heavy weight of other cameras, has done that for years and still suffer the old neck injuries. Any feedback would be appreciated. At this stage it is one one of the cheapest cameras we can buy in the RSA, still an amazin $900 but compared to the Sony which goes for $1500, could be worth while wasting the money on a toy????
