  1. Believe me, I would love to be able to jump off it but there is only so much time in my life and I've only just learnt to climb up it! In the spirit of 'Troll Wall' perhaps I should ask if you think a static line off the top would be a good first base jump!? Thanks for everyones help, beers all round if I ever bump into you guys :) Pete
  2. Hey If any of you have a minute to spare I'd really appreciate your help! I’m hoping to climb the Troll Wall this winter, a 1000m cliff in Norway but to do it I need your help. Please click on the link here http://www.berghaus.com/en/adventure-challenge/shortlists and vote for me, Pete Rhodes Spread the link to everyone you know and vote from as many computers as you can. Berghaus are offering a prize worth £2000 for the expedition that receives the most votes so please help me get there. Troll Wall is pretty awesome and huge. I’ll write more about my plans once they firm up in the coming months on my website www.peterhodes.co.uk Thanks Pete
  3. Hi, Sorry for another just started skydiving and looking to get in to BASE thread! Hope I can be quick! Currently I'm not that well off and the number of skydives I'm making is pretty steady. I was thinking I might get an old BASE rig and go ground launching as where I am in the UK the DZ's are few and far between but we have a plethora of mountains and hills. Is this a reasonable idea in that there are skills I can learn ground launching that will help when I eventually start jumping, or should I concentrate on making just skydives and doing the drills there. Thanks in advance for any thoughts! Pete
