  1. Just be careful. not that it is that big of a deal, but dont let your camera distract you from your skydive. Find a experienced camera person to talk to at your DZ, they will be glad to fill you in on the do'd and dont's Happy Filming
  2. You can take photos out of the DV tape when you play it back. I have a 2 gig memory card and I have taken 20 pictures out of the DV tape before. The still pictures are really good. 4 mega
  3. I came to this dropzone for the July 4 Boogie and have now moved here. The Vibe here is great and the potential for growth is huge! With Austin 45 minutes south and Fort Hood 20 minutes north this little DZ will become a major player in Skydiving quickly! The DZO has a great plane (PAC 750 XL) I have been in many otters etc., this is a true 11 minute ride to 14,000 feet with 15 on board. The stereo in the plane makes the trip seem even shorter. Air vents along both sides of the benches make for a comfortable climb as well. Got a Small group that wants to jump weekdays? This is the perfect plane for that, it can be launched with 6 people, perfect for team training!
  4. This camera is brand new. As soon as I started taking pictures I got the Error 99 message. I did what the manual said and removed battery and CF card. Still everytime I take more than 2 pictures it gives me the error 99 code. PLEASE HELP!!
  5. I have a Pilot 148 Now that has about 1000 jumps on it between 4 people. It is by far the best flying canopy I have had to date. I was about to downsize when a canopy coach showed me a few tricks, now I am gonna jump it about 100 more times before going to the 148. I have nothing but praise for the way the pilot canopy flies!
  6. Hello Everyone, just dropin a line to let people know about a boogie being formed by a collective group from Skydive Perris. A little place called Glamis California with a normal population of 12, turns into population 150,000 for a few days every new years week. There is a effort being formed to get more people into our sport, so please offer your suggestions and ideas. For more about the actual event look for updates on www.skydiveglamis.com understand that this is in its infancy and new information will be arriving constantly. Thanks[www.skydiveglamis.com]
