How about mounting the gopro on the visor itself to keep a low profile?

Has anyone had success with mounting a gopro camera on a G3 and still able to open the visor?

Thanks for the info about the san disk card-picked one up this morn and had no worries recording my kitesurfing sesh.

What SD cards are you all using? my "maxflash" class 6 card has trouble recording anything greater than 720p (30fps). camera just stops recording after a couple of seconds!

Ok-after a bit of trolling the internet I found this-http://www.digital-digest.com/articles/highdefdvd_test_page2.html I updated the codec on WMP using this method and it plays the files super smooth. Still have a prob with the sound-seems to play audio 2sec out of sync with the video. So i'm looking for a new sound card driver this morn.

I have the same problem- I saved the file to the desk top then tried to play it with QT and WMP. QT just skips and WMP plays it but with no sound. Real player and DivX player also skip.

I received my Skyhook mod kit from UPT a couple of months ago and was going to have it fitted with my next reserve re-pack in August. I just have a couple of questions for someone knowledgeable out there. 1. Why has UPT made this mod compulsory for tandem and student rigs but not for sport rigs? 2. Are there many sport rigs with this mod or are vector owners generally taking a wait and see approach to this problem?

can anyone explain why my VISO would be giving a different max speed in freefall compared to my friends ALTITRACK? for info both are wrist mounted and both on SAS (skydiver airspeed) i assume both have the same software but the difference can be as much as 25 MPH.

i've just gone through the process of buying new gear-did lots of searches on dropzone about smarts, PD reserves and PA reserves. talked to other jumpers and riggers and went with a PD Reserve. not the cheapest but from all the info definately the best.
