  1. sorry I have not been on here to get in on all the info I asked for....haha Anyway I really appreciate all the info. I am pretty much sold on the NEOS I have been trying to find one used but am not sure if that will happen. I also was wondering if anyone psycho packs the NEOS? I preffer it for my fx and for my xfire2 that I have had but had terrible openings with it when I was demoing a mamba so I am not sure if that was bad luck or if the different packing style made the difference. Anyway thanks again everyone for all the info. It is much appreicated. -John
  2. I am wondering if anyone has put a good number of jumps under the icarus neos and how they feel about it in comparison to other braced canopies? I am currently flying an fx and am wondering how the neos compares to it and to other canopies. Thanks. -John
  3. So, I got a sony alpha 100 for a present from my father for use as a still camera for skydiving. At first I was all excited but now I am a little unsure. I don't think that there is a bite switch made for the Sony cameras. Does anyone know anything about it? Or have any advice? I was thinking of ordering a remote shutter switch and a bite switch and splicing them....Anyway I would appreciate any and all help thanks. -John

    Viso

The Viso is an amazing altimeter! The electronic log book is great! It's really easy to set up and the numbers are really easy to read. I only have one complaint and it's kind of a big one. The viso comes with a wrist mount that has it mounted in a hard place to see when your hands are in your fron riser loops. Mine actually came missing a piece and I could not hook it up to be used when I got it. I had to order a pair of gloves from another company that had a special pocket to hold it in. So as far as the performance of the VISO I give it a 10 but the equiptment it comes with is sub par. Every add I saw it in had the hand mount in it, I have never seen a single picture of the wrist mount that comes with it. On top of that I have not been able to find a single place that sells a hand mount for the VISO. I talked to one lady from an online retailer and she said that L&B has not sent them any hand mounts to sell even though they have been asking for them. So all in all it's a wonderful piece of equiptment and I hope L&B will get a hand mount on the market soon.
  5. I jumped at collegiates last year and had the best time of my life! I will be back again this year with all of my friends. If the staff suck, who cares in my opinion. I'm there to skydive and have fun. Anyway, for the person thinking about nationals, come, it's a really good time and you'll have a blast. We go to Z-hills after the comp for the new years party and boogie. hope this helpped.
