I'm no lawyer but I thought that if a company/telemarketer called they were not allowed to hang up if you answered the phone, of course unless you were getting extremely beligerant or something. Not only that, but a person who repeatedly calls and hangs up can be considered a prank phone caller. I think this can be reported to the phone company or the police, especially if you have the number. If it were me I would document all the times they have called and when I reported them I might even make some stuff up to make them sound like more than just someone calling and hanging up on me.
