It was not a buzzard. It looked like some sort of eagle or giant hawk. 3-4ft tall, mostly black, short neck, longish legs and a very bad-assed expression on his face.

Ahhh the infamous North African One eyed EGRET!!!
You were lucky to escape with your life that day my friend. The Egret is one of the most deadly birds out there. Not many have seen one and been able to tell about it.

but her friends who really went to town on her swappee and her really depict some of the religious nutcases out there...:S

Absolutely. She should have stood up for herself. Me, I would have started chanting "kill kill kill" and then started touching them like a zombie about the dig in for a meal. From the looks of it they would of probably ran out of that house and never came back. Beyotchess!!!!!

Yeah Jean, this weekend, I'll be the quiet one and you can be the loud one. ;)

  4. Most times the thump is from the kitchen area. It's so loud though that it can make me jump if I'm kind of dozing on the couch or something.
Mine is a condo, but condo apartment not really any difference. I could put a new sound proof ceiling in my bedroom, but I figure it would cost like a grand or so. That is money away from jumping!! I have ear plugs that work just fine, just pisses me off I have to use them in the middle of the night.

  5. Wow seems lots of people on here have the same problem. Count me in on that. They beyotch upstairs must have a bowling ball that she is dropping in random spots of the house. I don't know what else could make such a thump. The loud walker thing is getting pretty annoying. The most annoying this though is when I am woken up in the middle of the night to her screaming at the top of her lungs. Now this isn't like words screaming, just screaming. The other day I actually heard her daughter come in and say something and then a bit later more screaming. This is at like 2 a.m. I don't know if she is having fits or what but I thought about leaving a note on the door that says I can hear you. I decided to stay the note until the next outburst. Lately things have calmed down a bit with her since I left a speaker pointed towards the ceiling turned on 105.3 the buzz all weekend long while I was at SDA. Since then I have not heard her blaring tv in the middle of the night.
Noise wars are a bitch, but I'll be damned if I can't be more of a pain. Beyotchesss!!!!!!!

  • Sue her anyway for pain and suffering, oh and definitely trauma. I mean what would you have done if your rig was ruined. You would be scared for life.
Glad to hear your not broken and stuff.
oh and I can't help but keep thinking of this, the most dangerous part of skydiving is the drive to and from the dropzone.

BTW, since this might get complicated, does anybody know of a reputable personal injury attorney in Atlanta?

Dude you should try garry marting hayes, I mean their commercials are pretty intimidating. Maybe Montlick and Associates. J.G. Wentworth, no wait thats for sick and dying people.
Who's injured?? That intersection sucks and no doubt you have hit a moron who thinks they did nothing wrong, hence the moronic I'll try and cross this one way street maneuver. It would have been better for you to friggen slam into her head on so that you could have proved she was in the middle of the road obstructing traffic.

Ok ok, so I really can't help you at all. Sorry bout the car man. You guys jump the farm now?? Maybe I'll see you out there.

    Don't say anything.
I walk with it in my back then toss it in the x-ray machine then put it right on my back.

do you keep it in any kind of back-pack though? or is the rig just on its own for everybody to see what it is?

how funny would it be to put it on proper, put your goggles round your neck, and put your helmat on as you walk out to the plane...:P

Then when you step onto the plane and the stewardess and pilot are there stop and say if you could give me a nice slow pass at about 15,000 that would be great.

I have not been through airport with my rig as of yet, but since reading this I'll be much more prepared me thinks.

  • The new stealth technology they bought was not what the Iraqi's thought it would be.

    orrrrrrr

After much planning the new surface to air missle defense system finally was incorporated into commercial flights.
