i understand that... the problem i am having is that this alt is not configured like the clock style altimeters. it looks more like a speedometer on a car and the 12 isnt the same as 0.

Will a Barigo 12000 foot altimeter still function above 12000? i can see that i wouldnt knom my altitude above 12000...but i just want to make sure that it isnt going to throw off the calibration or damage it.

ok so im in need of my first rig and would like some assistance in deciding on cont, main and res. i think i should go with 170 but which company and model same with cont and res. could anyone help?? oh yeah RSL or Skyhook?
