i do totally agree that we need another plane...we even needed one for the 08 boogie...i figured we would have another one this year but nope./..only 2..and it caused alot of people to get irritated that they could not get more then 4 jumps in during a day...and that manifest was not accepting tickets for loads after 3pm due to every load being booked untill sunset... it was a little annoying to say the least... \ next year...3 planes! lets get it goin! -------------------------------------------- www.facebook.com/agentlead

to clear up some misconceptions that i have seen forming in this thread..the baser is NOT a round canopy system. the main is a square base canopy. there is a round reserve in the belly mount which should never be used. its really just there to keep everything legal. on a real base jump you will not have a belly mount on. the system is for getting to know your gear, flying the canopy 10-20 times before you are jumping off a bridge and have never flown the canopy before. this gives you plenty of practice on THE CANOPY and helps with your gear fear. i put about 20 jumps on sonics system out of a plane this last summer BEFORE making my first base jump at bridge day this summer. i had no gear fear and knew exactly what to expect when that baseR opened. as far as sonic teaching a FJC with 11 base jumps, andy, i invite you to come over and have a listen to his course before you badmouth something you have never witnessed yourself. It is a fantastic course with alot of good information and know-how. It seems to me like alot of people love to jump on the bandwagon when one person has something to say, but this is how it is with most things in life. People talk and voice opinions on something they know nothing about first hand. Sonic is plenty experienced and has learned alot about base jumping from miles daisher. What he learned from miles he has taken and soaked up into his GIANT head along with what he has gathered on his own and he shares that with jumpers who want to get into the sport of base jumping. Personally i think sonic is doing a tremendous service to the sport. Its a shame some people cant also see it in this light. But its even more of a shame that all of those people have also never taken the time to listen to what he has to say and take his FJC for what its worth. i commend sonic for busting his ass and putting this gear out there and for dealing with the naysayers who dont have the first idea of what his course even entails.. kudos to you sonic. -------------------------------------------- www.facebook.com/agentlead
