  1. I will get ahold of Al, but what do you run down the noodles to get them to stand up straight, 1/2" PVC? Our current course is built from 18" high pieces of noodle stood up with 12" pieces pounded in ~6".

  2. Really?!? I thought for sure that Pro would be able to open Elements files but not the other way around! Shit!!! That's what I get for assuming!

  3. OK, so here's the situation. On my old laptop (PC) I had a premiere elements, and I was just about done our DZ's year end video. My computer then took an unfortunate journey down the stairs, and it was no longer useable, but I was able to recover the HDD from it. I Just bought a new computer (Mac) and got Premiere Pro. When I attempt to open the project file, it says that it was created on a previous version of Premiere and will not open on a Mac. Does anyone have a workaround for this? I really would like to avoid having to re-do all that editing! Thank in advance guys and gals!

  4. I'm of the same opinion as sparky. If you're competing at en extreme level (worlds, etc...) they might be beneficial, but other than that, I think they're just snake oil. That's just my opinion though, and you know what people say about opinions...

  5. This much is true. I'm 245 out the door, a bit less than you. I just bought a 111 Velo and plan to put 500 HMA on it, as it's got the vectran now.

  6. I've got about 300-350 jumps on my HMA 500 on a Xaos loaded ~1.9, about 75% ow which were terminal jumps with no problems whatsoever.

  7. I use an Optima and a Viso, both by L&B and I would highly recomend them. The guide mode on the Optime (series of beeps getting faster and faster until your landing turn altitude) and the +/- 10ft accuracy on the Viso were incredibly helpful when refining my setup.

  8. Would that affect sound coming from other programs? I've been using Adome Premiere and iTunes, which is where I've been experiencing the problems.
