Is there camping at the DZ? Anyone driving from Denver for the weekend that I can catch a ride with and split gas?

I'll try to fly in early on Thursday and out on Monday afternoon. Skootz looks like I won't be needing your extra car, but thanks anyway. If you ever make it out to Colorado you always have a place to stay and a ride to and from the airport.

Happy Birthday! Wish I was celebrating with you!

I had a tension knot when I had around 12 jumps on my right steering line. As soon as I opened I did a control check and could not lower my right toggle. At first I thought about chopping, but my canopy was flying straight and I had some time so I decided to work on it. I pulled on my toggle very hard and it would not come out. Then I remembered I could land on my rear risers and decided that was what I was going to do, then I started to relax a bit. While working my way into the landing pattern I kept working on it and pulled with everything I had and it cleared.

I rented a car and will be staying at Doc and Cindy's on the 24th then heading up the next morning! Look forward to seeing the West Plaines crew!

You can get a ticket from Salt Lake to Spokane for $182 plus tax at Southwest. I can pick you up from the airport if you fly in. I'll be sure to get some pictures for you. I see the cadets at my home DZ, Mile Hi-Skydiving all the time. If you get accepted you will be in my neck of the woods. Hopefully I will see you in Lost Prairie in a couple months.
