So I just shipped my Reflex out the other day for my rigger to assemble it, and I'm wondering if anybody here jumps one, and if their BOC is like mine. As opposed to most all other BOCs I've seen, this one isn't made of spandex. It's just like the rest of the container, and at the end there's a little piece of scrunchy like material holding it tight. Anybody know the know of any problems this type of set-up has/might cause. Should I jump it as is, or get my rigger to convert it? Any info appreciated, It's not a real sport unless you can die from massive internal trauma Lippy

Metallica - Fuel Metallica - So What Megadeath - High speed dirt They're real good for getting me pumped come exit time. I wanna get a solo video put to High Speed dirt, and have the camera guy dump high so I fall out of the picture just before the end of the song where the guy screams and you hear the splat. Hi All, I just got my new container, along with an alti I ordered. When I ordered the alti I told the guy at the order desk I just wanted 'something that'll tell me where I'm at' I should have specified that it should be hand or wrist mount, cause I got a chest mount. It's an "Altimaster II" with a screw at each corner holding the mounts on the back. I'm wondering if there is some place that sells straps that can replace the chest mount with a hand mount. Anybody know? It's not a real sport unless you can die from massive internal trauama Lippy

I got nothing against jumping when it's cold, but the DZO don't take the plane out unless it's above -10*C. It's not a real sport unless you can die from massive internal trauama Lippy

Oh yeah? Try running out a landing when the snow is real crusty on top. First step my foot went through, then it got stuck, then I ate snow. It's not a real sport unless you can die from massive internal trauama Lippy

I'm not entirely sure this is true, but the trade-off for the more space of a 206 is that they're dogs when it comes to climbing over 6K. I know I've had some half hour + trips to 10,500' in ours. It's usually a 20 minute flight in the 182 with four jumpers, weather depending of course. It's not a real sport unless you can die from massive internal trauama Lippy

So it'll be a month ago tomorrow when I ordered a used container from the container's manufacturer. The day after I ordered, I got a call saying they lost (or sold, can't remember) the reserve PC, and they would need a couple days to get everything ready to ship. Call back a few days later, and they were having problems with the manufacturer that makes the springs for reserve PCs for them. So I bitched and they said they'll upgrade my order for overnight shipping, free of charge. So for the past month I've been calling these guys like every other day and asking when my container will be here. Finally, yesterday they said they had the spings, and they were making the PCs. So now I'm going mental waiting for the courier to get here, even though its still way, way too cold to jump I just want it I want it I want it!!!!! Sorry, I needed to get that out...At least the company was real good about the situation, they were polite about it, and payed the extra shipping cost. But where the hell is that courier?!?!? I went to a DZ a couple weeks ago, and my rig isn't ready yet, so I put a couple of jumps on one of their's. It was a Sabre170 in a dolphin. Really comfy rig. When I was looking to buy a container I looked at Dolphins, then passed cause I thought they were a cheap, low quality rig. Now I'm regretting spending the extra $ to get a more expensive container that I ordered a month ago, and they tell me it'll be shipped out today...That really pissed me off!!! Maybe I just havn't been jumping long enough that I need to do crazy shit to get the rush, but from what you're saying, I think you're one of the people who I check the manifest to make sure they're not on my load before I get in the plane. I'm looking to buy a helmet, cause I'm getting sick of the stupic rental protecs, and since I already have my rig paid for I can actually afford to buy stuff. I'm looking at getting a skateboard or BMX helmet...I like the look, and the price, and the selection at local stores. Anybody know anything I should know before I run out and spend $80 on something no good for jumping...Any info appreciated. It's not a real sport unless you can die from massive internal trauma.
