You're right, Kallend. However, how many civilians were saved by the death of him and three civilians? US Troops were apparently 5 minutes away. And the house was under US surveillance. Why not at least attempt to take him alive? Callous indifference to civilians never used to be the American way. You question is valid, but I don't know enough to answer that.

There was a guy I worked with years ago that made a mistake that cost me dearly. I came very close to verbally giving him what he deserved. I figured it didn't matter because I was leaving the company anyway. I knew I would never have any contact with him again Two months ago he called and told me about an incredible job opportunity that would allow me to get away from the stress factory I was working at and work from home. Between the loss of the commute time and the constant overtime, I have gained back 800-1000 hours of free time per year. I now have time to skydive and I can honestly say that the job change has been one of the most life altering events I have ever experienced. If I had told him off, it would never have happened. ALWAYS take the high road.
