  1. All very well said and appreciated, Mr. Townsend... to all your posts in this thread. Glad you are going again, my brother. 2. I've been trying to research the oldest/longest running boogie in the world and still have yet to find one that has been running longer than Lost Prairie's Jumpmeet, which began in 1967. When did the Richmond boogie begin?? Thanks in advance. Lost Paulie
  3. Thanks Vader. :^) I sent him a message. LP
  4. Alright you bastard! You got me on here to look for you. :^) If you weren't as cool of a cat as you are, I wouldn't have felt as bad as I did for telling you I would not do any form of computer communication. I am sticking to my guns and will not be getting on here much, but thought I would drop a line to say hey. Good to see you again, homie. Let me know if you plan to come down to California anytime in the next year as my next out of state trip will be back to Lost Prairie. Sept. 18th-20th is the Byron Boogie, that will be the only Norcal event until next year. Lost Paulie
  5. Kyle, from camp Byranada at Lost Prairie.... are you out there? Anyone know how to reach him besides facebook and any other social site? Lost Paulie
  6. I tried his old skydive Toledo email, but it bounced back. If you are out there Michael or if someone can help me get in contact with him, please email me at [email protected] Thanks a bunch, Lost Paulie
  7. My heart goes out to you Chandolyn (sorry if I mis-spelled.) I am sorely going to miss seeing and hanging out with Joel during the boogie. He really was a banner for LP and for the sport and did a damn fine job of demonstrating just what is so great about what we do and who we are. This is just unreal. I was looking forward to seeing him, you, Mikey, Lena, Fred, Lenni, Amy, Ty, and the rest of the LP crew for the 40th. It is just not going to be as it should have been. We'll obviously try, but there will be a huge void. Scanning the faces at the bonfire, i'll still be looking for his smiling mug there. Always good to see him and always good conversations. Not to mention, singing "Two Osprey Jumpers" as a duet, something I will never forget. This is just too fucking much. All my love and hugs to you as this must be so much for you. I'll give you a hug at the bonfire when I see you there. Until then, you have a brother in California who is thinking of you all up there. Cya soon, Lost Paulie
  8. Jim, You are beautiful. It worked like a charm. In online manual at their website, it says that a C:31:XX indicator means something has occured that can't be serviced by the user. Dirty bastards. You rock!! Great to see you Saturday. I might see you up in Davis or Byron in two weekends if you are there. Might do one day Davis, one day Byron. Probably Saturday in Byron. Thanks for the help brother. Paulie
  9. Your help is needed! When I switch the camera on, I get the flashing eject symbol with a flashing "C:31:22" in the upper right corner. I assume the heads are dirty and I bought a head cleaner cassette, but I can't get it to play to clean them. Any thoughts?? Do I need to take the camera to a camera shop? Thanks in advance, Lost Paulie
  10. He has been living in Florida for several years now. I talk with him every month or so. He is big into his faith right now. He's still carpentering as well. He's sort of moved on from DJing and is now making his own music. I will call him to let him know you are trying to get in touch with him. Later, Paulie
  11. Hey... after I asked you, you said you might go and stop in Idaho on the way. And then, decided you weren't going. You know how cool it is, i'll let LP speak for itself... It's just like skydiving and whuffos, i'm done trying to convince people to go. Unless they ask about it... And no, no numbers this year. Been there, done that. I rode in an Excursion with a sober driver, up and back. No casualties. Cya soon, Paulie
  12. This will be the last year I trust the Arizona pilots to get the spot right. My first three times organizing it, the spot was DEAD on perfect (of course, Johnny longspot was flying then...) but this and last year, they have lost my confidence. I'll be collecting tickets for next years sunset cross-country starting Friday of next years boogie... Have 'em ready. :^) Cya, Lost Paulie
  13. What a kick ass year, this year was. The demo into the treatment center, the jump into MacGregor Lake, the fire tower *trip*... ;^) the sunset cross country, all the other skydives, and all the great conversations around the bonfire all 10 nights. Thanks to all who made it so much fun, can't wait to see you next year. And since this is my first post to dz.com... I guess I owe beer. But perhaps all those who were pushing for me to get on here can help me out with that... :^) If any of you key players (you know who you are) make it out to northern California, come on up to Davis and we'll fly (and maybe party in San Francisco while you're here.) See you all next year at LP. Lost Prairie skies, Lost Paulie LP 2005 11 days, 13 skydives (lowest ratio yet!!) P.S. If anyone can give me the contact info for Randy B. (Lost Prairie staff) and Kay (from Texas, I believe) I would appreciate it.
