  1. Excellent ideas! However, let me stress that any submitted formations need to follow the guidelines as listed on http://www.teammandrin.com/vrw4way/2006_additions.html. A formation that cannot be described in terms of an arm, leg, or foot grip (like a totem) or has a dock on gear (like a totem) will not be considered for the dive pool, unfortunately. This means that totems, spocks, monkeys, piggybacks and any head docks will be relegated to the artistic freefly crew for now. And let's remember that we only need 1 advanced block and 1 advanced random, and I think we may have already gotten those. We're really looking for fun and creative intermediate block moves!
  2. The VRW discipline needs to have 10 more formations added to its dive pool by February 1, 2006! At no time in the future will it be this easy to have a formation you created personally added to the dive pool... (just ask the competitive FS (bellyfly) skydivers!) Freefliers of all skill levels, we want your help! Visit http://www.teammandrin.com/vrw4way/2006_additions.html for the guidelines, then post your ideas here on this thread! Blue Skies! -Eric
  3. > I really hope this doesn't mean freeflying > will eventualy become mostly honing your > head-up and headdown skills to perfection I would hope that the pursuit of "honed skills" is most of what freeflying is now... I think we've all been on enough zoo dives to realize that people with "honed skills" have the ability to be safer in freefall. ...and in response to any critics of the alledged lack of creativity in VRW, I would say these people haven't actually flown the dives in the divepool. These formations are *made* to be "cheated", and that takes a lot of creativity. :-) -Eric PS. There are more videos online here: http://www.atlantafreeflight.com/vrw4way/comp1/ http://www.atlantafreeflight.com/vrw4way/comp2/ Enjoy!
  4. BTW, we want everyone possible to try to put together a team to compete in that VRW competition on Friday. There will be advanced and intermediate classes with a CASH prize for BOTH first places. Details will show up here as we get them: http://www.atlantafreeflight.com/vrw4way/comp1/ -Eric Team Mandrin
