There are few places that you can find the kind of open and friendly atmosphere that BAS provides. I started with a tandom and was hooked on the concept of human flight and the people there from that day on. I returned to complete AFF 1 through 8 and wouldn't trade the experience for anything. I'd be a regular had I not relocated to the East coast. Looking forward to returning some day. Great instructors, craft and a relaxed facility to boot. I highly recommend this DZ.
  2. Completing AFF and then promptly breaking my right elbow horse riding. I remember thinking, "That sucks, I broke my arm." And then it hit me, I can't skydive... For that I was in tears. I've never felt dull, gnawing despair like that before. Earned two titanium screws for the event. Best thing about getting hardware to fix you up is a fast recovery! Have rig on the way and can’t wait to re-qualify.
