  1. I actually had that issue. I did my AFF in colorado this summer but had to come back to michigan for school. Its no problem, like Mr17Hz said, just bring your logbook and any other relevant documentation so they can check it out. Its all good and you'll pick right on up where you left. I'm only 5 jumps away from getting my A now!! Good luck and Blue Skies.... Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----
  2. If you're into the club scene at all, go to PURE at Caesar's Palace, it was/is the best club in Vegas. Go early or be prepared to wait 2+ hours in line like I did and cover is about $25 for guys, so yeah....but its worth it, i promise....and if you dont think so, i'll buy you a case when you get back... Calculus

Yeah, thats the shitty part of calculus, i'm an engineer (or trying to be one) so i see that stuff every day. I liked Calc 3, man that was a great class. I know i'm a huge dork... but if you do need help, feel free to PM me, i got to the thread late, so it looks like the answer has been found.... Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----
  4. 2:1:3 2 = number of friends i convinced to come do a tandem today and they loved it! 1 = Just made a coach jump an hour ago at Tecumseh. It was a tracking sequence, which was sweet 3 = I had my first jump at Tecumseh last week, I jumped my own pack job last week, and I had my first hop-n-pop a few ago that I haven't counted yet. Overall, a very good weekend Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----

I love seeing how pumped they are to go, but they've all told me that they're scared shitless right now.....hahahaha I can't wait to see their reactions after we land and hopefully i'll get them started into the sport. Just thought I'd share... Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----

  10. My clock lets me set it for every 10 min, which is nice. On the other hand, thats probably why I'm late for class because I end up hitting it like 8 times...... I am not a morning person at all..... Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----
  11. Could someone enlighten me and please explain the weekend numbers thing? I know its how many jumps, but there is more to it too.... Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----
  12. 3 months. I started June 25th of this summer and graduated August 20th. My favorite level was 6 and 7....I LOVED tracking, the front and back loop, barrell roll, and tracking....tracking is def. my favorite.... Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----
  13. I had a few, like other, one of mine was/is "door anxiety", in the door, i'm just like "wtf am i doing??" Once i'm outside though, i'm fine. I also had performance anxiety, when i didnt pass my level 4 two different times, i got really down on myself and my JM's took me out and cheered me back up. Lastly, I did my first C&P the other day from 5500' along with my first cessna jump. I really dont like the cessna but being an AFF guy, jumping at 5500 scared the crap out of me. Needless to say i have to repeat it....but its all good... Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----
  14. Man, I can definately agree here. My AFF this summer wasn't bad because i had an internship to fund my jumps, but since i'm back at school, its harder. I just recently got a job working in one of the dining halls, plus i'm gonna do some packing at my DZ here, and i work for a spring break company. So thats how i'm trying to fund my jumping. I'm also saving up for the Eloy christmas boogie this year, which will be my first boogie. Classes dont start until sept. 6th, so its not bad now, but hey, whatever I can get in order to pay for it. If i have to hitchhike from michigan to eloy, i will. So i know how you feel dude, i'm working on my A right now too..... Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----

  20. So my last day in Colorado at Mile-Hi, the day finally came. I passed my AFF-7 and graduated I couldn't believe it and had so much fun on the jump, it feels awesome to be done now and on my way to getting my 'A' license. I made my first solo jump this morning before I left to drive back to Michigan for school. WOW, it was awesome, it seemed like time went by so slowly. My instructors and other friends who jump told me it only gets better from this point and now the "real" fun begins.....I can't wait....i'm so pumped!!! Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----
  21. I think it can buy temporary happiness that can last for a long time.... Now when you're a broke, poor college student like myself, then YES....money can buy happiness..... Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----
  22. I dont know.....I may not be as wise or knowing about the world just yet, but I'm having a blast being 21. I live everyday like it is my last, because who knows if it might be....tomorrow is not promised and who's to say if I will see 22 (hopefully God has it in his plan to let me get there ) But yea, I agree, its all in your mind, i think all the crazy shiat that I do now at 21, I'll still be doing at 31, 41, and 51 and on..... One of my biggest fears is getting old, so I live for each day..... Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----
  23. Heres mine, The first is of my ex-girlfriend and I on spring break a year ago in Acapulco. We are still great friends and may get back together, but we'll see. The other is me and my friends rafting the Royal Gorge River in Colorado earlier this summer.... The next one is of my dad and step-mom when they came up to school for the michigan vs. michigan state game....for having never played beer pong, they were really good....the funny part is my dad is a minister, so we drank for him....I love him, hes awesome Lastly, is the my fraternity lineage. From left to right it goes, My grand-little bro, my little bro, my grand-big bro, my big bro, me..... Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----
  24. Yo man, dont worry about it. I'm on Jump 12 this weekend and doing Level 7. I had a weird level 6 too, but passed. I came off the plane on exit, kicking my feet, which I had never done before. I think it was just performance anxiety going up, plus i was nervous about the backloop and barrel roll. So next time, relax dude and be aware of your body position. Make it fun, level 6 was a blast! When I did my back loop, i put my legs up and actually did a head down for a bit and came back, it was awesome!!! So perservere and keep your head up....and as someone said earlier, 9 jumps on level 6 is not bad at all. And if you have to, GO DO THE TUNNEL, I went and did mine b/w levels 4 and 5 and it helped TREMENDOUSLY. I only did the tunnel in Las Vegas, not the orlando or Perris ones (there is a difference). But like i said, dont give up, i know its expensive, believe me, I know, it took me 3x to pass level 4 too. But take a video or your next dive or just do a fun heading dive with your JM, that may help too. If you didn't want to skydive, you wouldnt put the effort and the money forth to do it and become good at it....so hang in there bro!! You'll get it Puttin' some stank on it. ----Hellfish #707----
  25. Yeah just to clarify, I'd probably do about 30 min also...
