It used to be guys were man enough to post their whatnotts without going thru- another poster....:P

Most the females and some male posters were always thankful for any photos that got posted no matter how big, small clipped, pierced, shaved, curved, or limp their members-whatnotts were. just remember that when looking at the boobies that we share in the other thread. ;)

Whoa whoa......some of us are just taking precautions as our jobs might monitor that kind of stuff. Some of us might appreciate someone trying to help me *err I mean some of us being anonymous :)

  2. Well thank you very much and I'll also respond to your PM later.

I'm flying as NFO, so I actually haven't landed on the boat yet. My job is to control the war basically and do all the black magic that we do in coordinating our fighters and putting warheads on foreheads.

The E-2 NFO Rag is by far one of the most difficult pieces of flight training I've been through so far. But i'm still honored and proud to have made it this far.

I can speak on behalf of the pilots (because I have a ton of buds who fly w/ me as pilot studs) and say that yes, they are the best of the best. The Jets can basically land themselves on the boat. The Hawkeye cannot do that and along w/ that, there is about 4 ft of clearance for error on either side when we land. One mistake could be catastrophic for the crew and those on the flight deck and/or end up with a crew in the water.
I DO love my aircraft though....especially since we are critical in every strike group. If our plane is down for maintenance, the entire strike group mission will be cancelled.

I'm looking forward to getting on deployment with whatever squadron selects me after this part.

  3. Haha oh no sir. A run on columbus is absolutely doable. The main job of the Hawkeye is Airborne Early Warning/Command and Control.....which means I can have fighters do a "simulated bombing run" of hostile targets smack over the horseshoe with my direction.

    Done and Done. B|

  4. Hey everyone,

So its been almost 3 years since I asked for advice here and let me say I now understand every single post and piece of advice you guys gave me. And needless to say, all of you were right and I've followed and took to heart everything you've all said.

Things are going well, I'm flying the E-2 Hawkeye and yes will be landing on carriers. I'm in my final phase of flight training and will hopefully be headed to Cali or Japan for my first sea tour and deployment(s). Just wanted to come on here and say thanks again to you all.

I'll hopefully be around a bit more now that flight training isn't sucking away ALL of my life (just 95% of it). I also can't wait to be done with training so I can start skyjumping again. :)
I attached a picture of my commissioning w/ my parents from 2 years ago at OCS ( don't have an updated pic from my promotion yet) and also of my aircraft in all its beauty.

  5. Wow, thank you all very much for taking the time to pass along your words of wisdom so far. I definitely intend to heed this advice at all costs. Even though it'll be awhile before I get to my first squadron, I'll try to save all the responses to this and stash them on my laptop.

I am definitely looking forward to it and can't wait to start this new path for me.

If anyone else has more to add, please by all means do so or you can send me a PM as well.

Thanks again to all of you who have responded thus far! It is really greatly appreciated!

  6. Hey everyone, so I haven't been on here in a long time, since I had to stop jumping after losing my job blah blah blah other shit happened blah.

Anyways, after that I wanted a new challenge and skipped one of my grad classes to go to a career fair a year ago. Long story short, I pursued a commission with a US Navy and was accepted in August to become a Student Naval Aviator (Pilot) and I will be classing up for Officer Candidate School on 24 January with Class 13-10.

What I am looking for is advice from anyone in any branch as far as do and don'ts, whatever. Even though I'm going to be an Officer, I intend to learn alot from my senior and junior enlisted sailors that I will be the division officer for at some point. So please hit me up with the good and bad.

Both my parents were military as well (Mom - Marines, Dad - Army), so this isn't entirely new, but new enough.

P.S. - I know this isn't a military forum, but I wanted to get words from people outside of that type of forum whether retired or still active duty.

    Thanks in advance! B|

2 good friends of mine here at the Univ. of Colorado

Wow, those girls are taller than you.:o
And very pretty. Ya got some nice lookin' friends.:)

Thanks, i'm sure they'd appreciate that.

And its tough to tell, but i'm actually holding them both up. If I met a girl who was over 6'5, that would probably scare me :S

Dude, they cut your hair- keep them happy- they have to eat too- I tip my Hair person, besides that- she is hot, and she hasn't ever given any of my family, or myself a bad hair cut. :)

Second that. They usually remember you if you do it consistently. I always tip mine, because my haircut is pretty specific and they always wash my hair and give me a scalp massage too B|

  9. I had my birthday this past weekend and pretty much drank from Thursday to Sunday. I made it for though by eating less calories during the day.

I did end up actually losing 3 lbs.

So far I am down 13 lbs in 7 weeks. Starting to see bigger changes. Stomach is getting smaller and flatter and when i did my BF assessment, my BF has gone down everywhere all around my body.

I've been working really hard this week so I haven't done cardio in a few days. But I'll be getting back to it tomorrow AND i start scuba certification training next monday as well :)

    Puttin' some stank on it.

    ----Hellfish #707----

  10. Nope I'm still working out consistently as well....

Just entered my 5th week at the Antigym and since I began, I have lost 11 lbs.

Getting up at 4 am to workout isn't that bad anymore and it gives me energy to last the day....or at least until 4 or 5...

Cardio is up too. I had a physical the other day as required since I am getting my scuba certification in 2 weeks and am starting a program to become a Master Scuba Diver.

Anyways, I don't want to give out all the stats the doctor gave, but he said I was in great shape. I told him there was still room for improvement :D and he laughed as well...

  11. Wow, first thanks to everyone so far who has responded. I never would have guessed that this many people had/shared similar experiences.

It makes me feel like I am making the right decision for now.

As far as livendive's question, I consider a break to be any period of time in which you aren't skydiving due to some personal/life issue that you need to resolve or that is of more importance.

Oh and my face doesn't turn there :P

    ----Hellfish #707----

  13. So, I was kind of wondering if anyone else has gone through this at some point....

I decided to take a break from skydiving for a few reasons:

    1. Money is tight enough right now, and I just can't find a reason to go and use it on jumping when I know I need it for bills, to live, groceries, gas, etc.
    2. Gas. Enough said.
    3. Me being the size that I am, it was impossible for me to find used gear. I was SO sick of jumping student gear that i'd rather just not jump after awhile. I am still in the process of getting it together piece by piece. All I need is a reserve and cypres. Some people don't understand why its taking me so long, but I barely have money from week to week, let alone using it for a rig.
    4. Career. I am in the process of studying for the GRE (already in grad school, but have to take it anyways....formalities) and the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (which by the way if ANYONE has taken, any advice you can give would be awesome).

The GRE won't be hard at all. The FE exam is an 8 hour test on basically everything from my undergrad. It is the first step to becoming a professionally licensed engineer.

Anyways, long story short, due to these things that we can sum up into one category as "Trying to get my life in order", I feel that skydiving needs to move to the backburner for awhile.

I absolutely hate that, but its a reality. Has anyone else ever had to do something similar? It really sucks but I'm trying to keep my priorities straight and right now, skydiving can't be at the top of that list. [:/]

  14. I lost 3lbs after the first week of working out with my lifestyle consultants at the Antigym.

I love it, but its f*cking intense workouts....can't wait for tomorrow!!

I do it 3 days a week at 5 am and have SO much energy after that, its awesome....

    ----Hellfish #707----

  15. Well today, I had my first personal training workout at the "The Antigym" and wow. Today was legs. It was intense and the people in my group are awesome, but intense. Me telling them that I wanted to be an astronaut, made it worse haha....

I can't even really begin to describe how intense this session is to you guys. Both trainers, independently, told me that 45% of the guys puke during their first workout and other 53% break down into tears. I was in the 2% that did neither....but it was def. tough, physically and mentally.

And gotta give props to the ladies because they were kicking ass as well. There were only 2 guys in my group, myself, included, the rest were girls, and they were getting their asses kicked and worked just as hard as the guys.

But it was amazing and I can't wait to see what happens. I love it. I love having to be accountable for what I eat by sending them my meal plan (what I ate/drank during the day) every night.

Tomorrow I'm back to my gym for back, tri's and shoulders and then wednesday I'm back at the Antigym for Chest and Arms @ 6 am.

I've also set some new goals as well.
    1. I have about 80 lbs on fat on my body. I weigh 254 lbs. I want to reduce that by at least 60-70%. I'm trying to drop that, get majorly cut, and get down to 10% BF. I'm at 24% right now (gross).

Those goals were there, but not outlined and now that I'll be working out pretty much everyday AND getting my ass kicked (in a good way) 3 days a week, and on a strict nutrition plan....the results should begin to show.

Hope everyone is meeting or working towards their goals as well!! Good luck everyone!!

  16. I promise that I'm still here :P, but I have ALOT to update on...

I have been crazy busy finishing out the semester and work and other things, but have been staying with my workouts faithfully and upped it to 5x a week as well..

In addition, today I recently also joined a personal training "gym". I dont want to use the trainers at my gym because:
    A. Most are good, but the ones i've seen with clients are not motivating. They're good at what they do, but I'm not there to make friends and laugh and joke and play
    B. It is ridiculously expensive

So I went and got accepted to a place called
    "The Anti-Gym"

It is awesome and reminds me of football practice. You have to be interviewed 2x to be accepted here and its a different kind of personal training. They work with you and formulate a nutrition plan for you that you have to stick to and everything. BUT, if you're not pushing yourself hard enough, not fulfilling your goals, slacking on your meal plan or any other part of the workout, you basically get yelled at and cupcakes thrown at you. Its a different type of environment and I like it :)
There is a dean's list and sausage/chubbies list. Your name goes on the dean's list if you're doing well and meeting your goals and busting your ass. If you're not, it goes on the other two. Training is done in groups, so its competitive and you get a report card on performance every 4 weeks.

I LOVE IT. The owner (who does the consults and interviews) is awesome and said today that he wants to make it his goal to not only help me reach mine, but he wants to try to break me. He said "I want to be able to say that I was able to break an astronaut and that not even an astronaut could handle our training."

But yeah, my first workout is on monday with him. I'll still be doing my own workouts as well on in between days at my other gym too. But I'll be going to him 3 days a week (2 days @ 5:30 am) and working out at my other place too.

I can't wait and I'm really excited for it...
    Check out his website -

Also go to youtube and search Anti Gym and you can see some of the commercials...hahaha they're funny..

But all is well otherwise, I've seen GREAT gains in strength as I've started turning it back up because I hit a plateau for a bit.

  17. Ok everyone, after a LONG list of names sent in by you guys and those other friends who may or may not skydive haha

I have created a poll for you to vote for the names you like.

Vote for one female and one male. B|

And no, you can't resubmit a name just because yours didn't make the list ha....

This is why I don't almost never bet on sports. :D

I had Memphis going all the way in my bracket and they made 1 out of their final 4 free throws near the end of regulation and couldn't close the deal?

Memphis choked big time. Big time. Kudos to Kansas for never giving up. They earned this one.

GO KU!!!! I had Kansas going all the way and won my bracket!!! WOOOO!!!!!!!

  19. Wow, I couldnt believe this when I heard it saturday.

Dan-O, you were my FJC instructor and you and I always talked about how I was doing and you were always encouraging me to keep jumping...

I'll never forget what you told me after my first jump when I forgot to flare but did a perfect PLF, according to you...haha

I'll def. miss you, but I will never forget anything you taught me...Thank you...

  20. If it doesnt conflict and your boss flipped out the first time, I probably wouldve done the same thing.

However, you never know what your first job or how they may respond if someone over your boss finds out.

For me to work at the windtunnel here, I had to fill out paperwork that my boss had to approve and that had to go to corporate and get approved again, as long as it doesnt interfere, it usually isnt a problem.

I was also working at the tunnel 5 months before I signed that paper but people still knew about and my boss said "I was never concerned about the conflict or lack thereof between Ball and the tunnel. So no worries"

It helps to have a boss who is understanding....good luck.

I'd say find a way to justify your 2nd job (helping pay off student loans, etc.)

I have a female on hold right now.

Are you sure it's a female?

I've been working as a vet tech now for almost two years, and not one time has an owner come in and told us the right sex of any reptitle.

What ever you do, do not put live food in the tank with the snake. We have had two Ball Pythons come in over the last two weeks, and the mouse had attacked the snakes and they were not in good shape. The problem with putting live food in the tank with the snake, is that in the wild if the snake missed the strike, the mouse would get away, but in a tank, they are trapped together and the mouse can turn ugly on a snake. Just some thing to think about, it will save you money in vet bills.

Have a good reptile veterinarian conduct a stool check for parasites.

Yes I'm sure. The breeder I'm getting it from has been doing it for 20 years, so I trust he knows his shit.

Thanks for the advice, but i've been doing EXTENSIVE research on what to do and what not to do as far as caring, feeding, temperature gradients, etc. are concerned. Plus I knew that from my friend telling me the same thing as far as not feeding it in the same tank. Plus I dont want him or her to attribute my hand with food everytime I go to handle it.

The breeder has a vet on site that checks them and doesn't sell snakes that are sick or have parasites. But they don't have parasites as they are all captive bred. The stool check is already done with him and the other vet as well and they have the health history of each snake on record so that you can verify as well.

TO everyone that sent names, thank you so far....I will make a list of the ones I like and probably do another poll in the next few days, if the mods allow it :)

Why do you need both male and female names? Don't you know what you getting?

I have a female on hold right now.

However i did want a male and they are a bunch coming in from being hatched in January or so. So i may go through them and find a male I like.

Or I may just get a male and female or 2 males or 2 females...

So to answer your question....yes and'll depend on how I feel. The female has taken a liking to me though :)

  23. Ok, so some of you may remember me asking about where to go to get my Ball Python and such a LONG time ago (well not that long)..

Well the time has come and I will be getting him/her next week.

I promise to take pics and post them, but in the mean time I need ideas on sweet ass names....I already have some from my (non skydiving) friends and I'm asking you guys too...

So I need female and male names....give me what ya got B|
