DOM is April 1988. It is a 7 cell reserve and the reserve card, at least the ones that are still with the rig, show no reserve rides. An Orion reserve is made by Paraflite who also makes the Swift reserve. There are no rips or patches that I can see on the canopy. The label does not say what the size is, just the max. weight for the reserve is 215 lbs. so that tells me it is around 210 - 215 sq. ft in size for a wing load of 1:1. Although older it has been stored safely and properly.$175.00

I have a brand new Canadian made harness/container with an older, never jumped 28' round parachute which has passed both an acid and tensile strength tests. This container is not TSO certified, so most likely for Canadian buyers only or for those in countries that don't require this. The rig with the 28' parachute in it packed measures 22” in length, 13” in width and is 4" thick. Price is $1800 Canadian dollars.$1,500.00

The container was made by a Canadian Master Rigger here in Canada and it is not TSOd, (not required here in Canada), so might not be suitable for anyone in the USA. It is a Dionne "Concept" container, made in July, 1997. The main is a Typhoon 135, made in April 1998. The reserve is a Tempo 170, made in July, 1997. The harness would most likely fit someone between 5' 6" to 5' 10". The container is in very good shape, the lines on the main look very good also and looks like it has new steering lines. The reserve packing cards shows no rides on the reserve. Sorry, not sure how many jumps on the main but it looks good as I am selling this rig for a friend of mine. This rig has not been jumped for many years now but has been stored properly. The pictures show the reserve PC out. Please let me know if you would like more pictures. Price is $1200 US dollars or $1500 CND$1,200.00

I have some of our company skydiving t-shirts for sale as the DZ has sold. If you want one, even though you have never jumped here, here is your chance. Pacific Airsports operated a DZ here at the Campbell River Airport, Vancouver Island, BC, Canada for 43 years. Price is $20 US which will include shipping to anywhere in the USA. For Canadian skydivers, price is $25 CDN and includes shipping anywhere in Canada. I have small, medium and large sizes.$20.00

I am trying to renew some classified ads and they are asking for money to renew. Looks like you are the administrator for dropzone.com, are there no more free classified ads allowed?

I am trying to decide on an Aerodyne or an Icarus canopy for my tandem operation. Any comments about these 2 canopies from TMs greatly appreciated. Thanks. Roy

I'm currently a DZ owner in Canada operating off an airport with a remote landing area. I'm trying to establish a landing area on the airport and any comparable airports that allow skydiving would be helpful in my quest with the airport authorities. Roy

I'm looking for information on any DZ's that jump onto airports that have a 2 or 3 runway configuration, and approximately 180,000 or more aircraft movements a year? Thanks Roy

In business since 1977, Pacific Airsports offers a long tradition of high quality skydiving, training and fun at the Campbell River Airport. Our landing area is immediately adjacent to our hangar, allowing your family and friends to witness your entire adventure, starting with gearing up for the jump, climbing aboard our aircraft and landing gently with a very big smile on your face.
