While i agree that this is great advice i don't think there is anything wrong with buying a USED canopy (from someone you trust) as your first one, even if you haven't jumped it yet. I purchased a Used Saber 190 as my first Main and slowly worked my way to it. I was actually very happy with the main but even if i hadn't been it gave me a chance to decide if i wanted to stay in the sport long term and if i wanted to downsize more. I would most definitely agree with the previous post that in the future when replacing your current Main you should jump it to make sure you like it as you will have more of an understanding as to how a canopy should fly and what you dislike and like about your current one. I'm looking for some RW fliers that would be interested and have the ability to fly 4way/3way/2way in the tunnel. I have 10 min blocks every Tuesday at 8:30 pm in the South Denver Tunnel. I'm wanting to work on my belly skills and have a little over 3 hours of tunnel time. Hey all, So the move to Colorado has been interesting. I am enjoying Mile High which is only 15 mins from where i live.... (can see them from the backyard). So friday i finally landed a very good job in the IT department of Level 3 technologies. I start next week. Needless to say I am excited about that one. It kinda sucks breaking in a new DZ, they have mostly free fliers here so i have to hunt a bit for the RW guys. They do have the "largest swoop pond in the US....eric" Needless to say if you ever visit Colorado or drive near longmont look me up.
