QuoteNice article about "America's Most Remote Brewery" to tide you over till the demo jump.

Im usualy not there until the weekens but this time I get the whole week“Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. I also "may" have some shocking news about the found money. Before I go there though I need more proof but I promise, if true, everything we thought, or I thought about the money is wrong
Well if you are going to tell us there is no way the money got there by natural cause from the jump point that will not be any big surprise.
Your picture of the bag had me LMAO! You mean they actually gave him a bag like straight out of an old cartoon......or were you joking?“Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. QuoteAny chance someone might have a scan?
Funny that PD publishes an ad and still nothing on their websites....
I think this is called a teaser ad, and from the sound of things it worked.

Do you still have the ring he bought for you in Seattle?
What was the exact date of that purchase?
Could you scan and post the letter you say you have from Duane to a friend saying he needs to lay low?
What hotels did you stay at when you were out here on your trip?
He told you the money was useless? Could you elaborate on that?
He took you to lunch? Did he pay with cash? Was it twenties?
He bought you a ring any chance we could find out where he bought it?
Back to the Money which was found on the river. I know where you say he threw a bag in the river at and I think Tina’s bar would be the logical place it would wash to.
I took a truck load of Orange jumpers up there two years ago……it was the end of that vehicle.
Jo, do you have any other hard evidence about the trip you took that would place him in the area to plant the money?
If he planted the money to throw off the investigators then why did he run when it was found?
Ok I see that. Im still wondering about the front lines going threw the back of the slider though. Dont think you would want to cut all them out
QuoteAlways carry a knife . . . it's the emergency procedure for when you are all out of emergency procedures . . .
(I've seen a lot of bad rigging, but that's real bad).

Ok I gota ask.....just what would you have done with a knife under that reserve other than put yourself out of misery before impact?
If we could use DNA to rule out one story of the money being placed there by someone then that would be great......however I don’t think the info the public is being given about the tie is enough to convince anyone.
Is there more info about the tie???

Damn I just thought today it was about time for someone to start an LP thread and there is already two pages. I got the whole week off and am leaving the kid at home this year. Should be a hoot!!
I personally think the key to solving this thing is if we can 100% rule out that the money made it there naturally. Once we could accept that as fact then the efforts could be focused much more.
What can we determine if we look only at facts? I personally think that some of these speculations go way outside the lines of trying to figure this thing out.
The money on the beach:
We know for a fact that this was coopers. How did it get there? Can we rule out that it got there by natural causes? If so how can we do this?
If it didn’t get there naturally then when, why, and who could have put it there? We have someone who thinks they know someone who put the money there. Is there any way to prove that? Maybe mud form Tinas bar in a shoe or a receipt from a hotel that puts the person in the place at the right time?
Speculation is great but it will never win you a court case. We need FACTS and we need them badly.
Quotethat would be cool. It would be really cool for someone to dig today and get a photo. I have no idea what it might be like today. the clay layer might be gone. Heck there might be more money

I could do this......however if I have to dig 84" down Im not sure I want to
There have been so many things talked about here that I am starting to get some of them mixed up but why dose Cooper need to have some great knowlage of the plane. Dident he ask for the stairs to be down at take off? If so then he didnet "know" he could open them in flight.“Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and their hopes and dreams. If I didn’t drink this beer, th
I work in the spa business so I understand a bit about water and testing of water.
First off let me say that I have read every single post of both of these threads but rarely post because someone usually covers what I am thinking. But one thing that I’m surprised has not been talked about a bit more is the probability of the money showing up there naturally.
Of course it is possible if the flight path and the jump took place at just the right spot to land in the water shed.......but what would the probability be of it actually happening that way?
I live in Portland and have spent many, many hours up the Washougal River in the summers as it is my favorite place to go on a summer day to cool off and jump off some rocks. The river in many places is small enough that you could jump across it. Also it is a wooded area with tons of snag points along the river. It is very rocky with many back water areas and pools so it would have to pass all that without hanging up.
Then you need to look at the human element. Since everyone seems to be leaning toward the fact that the money did not show up at Tina bar until after the dredging then you would also have to assume that the bag took a few seasons to get down the river. Well let me just say from experience that the river is crawling with people during the summers. Sure probably not as many people were going up there thirty years ago but I would willing to bet it was still a pretty popular place so some one certainly may have seen the bag.
Now of course all of this is just an opinion but all I’m saying is I think the probability of it getting there naturally is extremely low.
I think a lot of theory in this case is ridding on the fact that the money made it there naturally and it wouldn’t be that hard to take a few bags up the river and see how far they get. I personally would bet on none of them making it there. I know this would take some time and we don’t know exactly where to start but since the case hasn’t been solved in thirty years I'd say we have nothing but time on our hands.
P.S. I know my grammar sucks but what can I say…..I’m just a skydiver

1. proving he was in the area right before the money was found.
2. proving he lived in the area at one time.
3. The letter you have from him to a friend saying he needed to get away or lay low after the money was found.
This thread is getting way off track. We need to know what Creket found about the money. It may rule out Duane or at least your story about Duane. Then again it may help prove it as well
