Well last year an alty.sized scorpion crawled in my shoe .Ifound it when i put my shoe on and felt something. Pulled my shoe off looked inside, At first i thought it was a spider. But when i dumped out the thing, It was a scorpion 5"long and 3"wide which dosent sound big but i almost shit, Couldn't believe what i saw.the cocnut cay is the place i stayed last year not this year but wild horses couldn't keep me away

As for the twists i beleave it was a combo of things,my w\l is 1.8 ?i found that the bottom corners of container had come unstitched and and some tube stoes had shown signs of needing to be replaced,but i think the biggest contributor was the chest strap being to lose and allowed the harness to flex at the chest , more at opening . by tightening up the chest strap 1inch more had a big effect on the overall opening. After opening then loosen up chest strap . have not had one since and the openings are more consistant.

To chop or not To chop that is the QuestionLast week end i had my first cut-away ya i know bbbbbbbbeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.and yes im in my bird man GTI and have 14 js in itand this particular flight went great it was my personal best in flight time and control was just ossum................ well any way ,If your main spins up after opening how much should you try to kick out before you chop !!!!!!!!!! I gave one good hard kick it through me in a dive on my back now i pulled 5ish it spun up i kick it dives , i chop, roll over ,pull reserve, open canopy by 3.0 the question is should i have waited longer and try harder or is living to ask the question anwser enough....

The reason its worth waiting for is because they are one of the best in the world one of the top five as for manufctuers i pulled it out of the bag hooked it up did three line checks and baged it for a brand new canopy it was easy to pack, the opening was beutiful and the landing and flair was superb......... blue skys and soft lanings .............. Hay Craig, No matter how long it takes you will love it mine took a total of 14wks2dys but they have a 2wk shutdown in aug, and im shure it was before your order date. so the min, you stop thinking about it it will be there.dont worry it will be worth the wait..... ..............RC.

Hay , I second that jim cazar is great, the p\c he made for me was outstanding and the risers he custom made are "TOP OF THE LINE" the workmanship is fantastic and the customer service is just "Top Notch".And my new canopy is so sweet Thanks for the great workmanship on my cobalt. I never said steel is bad or good , what kind of skydives do you do ,,rw,ff,sf what speed are you falling at, regularly. its all about personal comfort and trust in your equipment what makes you comfortably on your equipment,both are strong both have pros and cons its up to each and every one of us to learn as much about our equipment and its stress points for constant inspection,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I personaly perfer soft links , for my personal comfort and trust

Hi Mick , about the mods are the top & bottom or just top . have you been to davis lately.and as for reserves my rigger suffed one size bigger , and the retightening is no problum it takes the rigger 2min to retighten the poptop and my reflex is real comfortable..................

The cobalt Is The softest,smothest,strongest canopy made i jumped icrus,pd,ar,pr, and cobalt smokes them all as for wing load i went from169safire to 120 cobalt it was easier to land even in deep brakes lets see the rest land in deep brakes and not shatter your pelvis on my 120 im at 1.8 wing load its that good demo 120 after you got 500js on your 135 and get comfortable with it before you doun size that way you will have more fun

I have used both types of links i prefer soft links they help with slider damage and line wear at the point of connection to reduce the wear and less snap at line strech because the are snuger fit between line and riser and all tests showed riser failure before soft link failure at drop tests..... to reduce wear , and damage to all exposed parts thats not a hard choice to make ,,,my safty and the safty of all my fellow jumpers is my concern," isen't it yours!!!"

I waited for my new canopy for a total of 14wks ,I was sressed out on the wait i had been putting this rig together for over a yr, in all . I picked my colors very closely ,and saved ,and saved then ordered my first brand Spanking new canopy, My Cobalt ! I was besides myself with antisipation ,I was driving my wife crazy pissing and moning ... After 13wks I was a basket case .Then on a magical thusday at high noon the ups truck was out front. I went out to meet the driver and to my suprize a box from SkyKat and it Was my long lost canopy .I ran inside oped the box pulled it out it was like my first love it was drop dead beautiful.

After all the confusion and stress i can say without a dout that the wait was .....unbeleaveable but the canopy was pure blis the smothest,softest,strongest,canopy i have ever had the absulute Sweetest..................YES IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well snowflake i spoke to stacy yesterday and my canopy had left brooklin 20min before i called so hopefully yours is on its way also check with your dealer.......

I've tried being nice and lots patience and but my complaint falls on def-ears my canopy is at 13wks as of aug-22 and still no info as to where or when it will show up i even paid in advance .Im don't want to cancel my order but im not being given any choice i ordered my cobalt because thats what i wanted . but i missed my first demo jump and several boogies in between my first brand new rig is waiting on its main and its very sad the repack is due and it hasent been jumped yet. no shure what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!
