  1. It sounds like this system is extremely close to the one invented and developped by Eric FRADET. Actually, this is an Eric FRADET's invention!
  2. Hi. A friend of mine (skydiver) has just became father. I would like to know where I could order (on internet) some cool skydive clothes for babies (I have already found some on go-wear.com) Many thanks. Pascal

    #108 - ?????????

Hi Moritz. René was one of my best friends and I was contacted by the French gendarms for giving them information and helping their search and rescue operation. René was 59 years old and appreciated by a lot of people. He had very nice funerals where we drank a lot (he would have not liked that we cry). We will jump a last time with him in late june where we will throw his ashes from his favorite cliff named Benevise. I will never forget him, never. And I will not be alone...
  5. Hi. Yes, I confirm, this is an old Parachutes de France student rig: the Campus II, evolution of the Campus. The Campus was the first "all in back" student container from Parachutes de France, not used anymore. The Campus II is still used in French skydiving schools but it is about to be replaced by the Atom Legend Student. The Campus II was equipped with a "double" Stevens system: the LOR II. With that sysytem, both risers are linked to a single reserve container pin. That means that there are two reserve pins, also linked to the reserve handle. The main body of these pins is not curved. There is only a "circle" at one of the extremities of the pin for fixing the bridle that is linked to the riser. The part of the pin between the circle and the main body is then slightly curved, but the main body of the pin that is inserted in the closing loop is completely straight. This pin acts exactly like a straight pin and not like a curved pin. The LOR II allows an automatic reserve container opening only when BOTH main risers are cut away. This system is still in place on all student parachutes from Parachutes de France. It is also an option for expert skydivers. LOR II=Libération (Cut away) Ouverture (Opening) Réserve (Reserve) II (two pins). By the way, wher did you catch this picture? Pascal
  6. Hi. I am a French skydiver and base jumper. I had a full hip prosthesis in July. I would like to know if you know some people who jump with hip prosthesis. If yes, could you please me provide with their e-mail address so as to be able to get directly in touch with them? Many thanks. Blue Sky, Dark Cliffs
