  1. Freefall adventures is I believe the skydiving school and Skydive Sebatian is the dropzone. The are both run from the same place. I'm from the UK and went out there last March and did my AFF (Accelerated Freefall) and loved it that much I went backin May for a further two weeks. Give Wendy Waller a call. She's the manager of Skydive Sebastian and should be able to answer all your questions. The views are amazing there too! D Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can do today
  2. Hey I did my AFF in Sebastian last year in February and loved it soo much I went back in May to do my FS1. Got AFF done in 8 and FS1 in 8 too (thanks to Rob Stevenson, what a great coach!) Stayed at Wendy's and she is a top chick. Hoping to swing by later this year when I go globe trotting. A couple of things though. It will be scorching and watch you don't burn your nose. You may laugh but you will be that much closer to the sun when in freefall and under canopy and it is that much stronger. I did and it hurt! Sore shoulders with a rig on your back is not too nice either. We also had a few problems with the wind. Make sure you get up nice and early to ensure you get on the loads early as by around 11am the winds had usually picked up and didn't calm down until around 3 or 4pm. The people are amazing, the views are spectacular the weather is a scorcher! Say hi to Rob, Uwe, Wendy, Ian, Mark, Mario and Aaron if they're all still there. You will have a fabulous time, I am so jealous! Davina Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can do today
  3. Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for. Had tried the search but found similar questions or Pro vs Psycho but they didn't explain how you do it. Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can do today
  4. I've just been reading through some other threads and posts that refer to "Psycho Packing". Excuse my ignorance but what is it? I've heard of Pro packing and flat packing and can do both but I've never even heard of this, let or lone know what it is! Thanks Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can do today
  5. Anyone know where I can get it in the UK? Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can do today
  6. Seriously give the book a try. I was like "read a book to stop?" so was pretty sceptical. I think it works by changing the way you think. For example, you're not giving up you're stopping. Giving up makes you think you're depriving you're body of something but you're not. And don't use Nicotine Replacement Therapy (gum, patches etc). You're still feeding the Nicotine Monster then! 7. I read the book "Easyway to stop smoking" Worked for me. 3 weeks today and it's not bothered me at all! http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0140277633/qid=1114759643/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/202-2065211-7591864 Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can do today
  8. Whoops sorry, wasn't watching this thread and missed your reply. Feeling horrendous (why do i always suggest B52's?) so a bit of chatter on here is about the most productive thing i am going to be all day. Struggling to even string a sentance together here! 11. I went to Hinton half a dozen times to finish my last two consoles last year after doing my AFF in Florida. I also struggled to get on lifts. Not due to kit or docs and there were instructors on almost all of the loads to dispatch me. I remember seeing a letter in the mag within the last 6 months or so about people struggling to get on loads. Unfortunately, it seems to be if your face fits at Hinton. Well this is the impression I have been led to believe and have not been proved otherwise, sorry. I too drive 180 miles each way to Hibaldstow. Went there last year after coming back from the US a second time and the few other dropzone's I have been to in the UK don't come close. Great planes (3, yes 3 Dornier G92's), great people and great facilities! Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can do today
