Matt, Perry has a new # in WI, PM if you'd like it.
  2. Thanks for all jumps over years Perry, we are not done by any means! Travis
  3. Just wanted to say congrats to Dan, Axel, Dr. Bill, and Hushpuppy on making their first wingsuit jumps at Emerald Coast Skydiving! Our tiny flock is growing and if anyone in AL or the Panhandle wants to flock, drop me line. I have any size Prodigy available for beginners and I would love to get some more experienced fliers around, let's fly! Blue Skies and Long Flights, Travis (PFI-11/BMI-12)
  4. What's up Craig, I just watched your team video, good stuff. Yeah, the canopy time is the important part, that's some sick shit. "Don't pull 'til you see the whites of their eyes...!!!" If you come to the states anytime soon, send me an email. I'm local at Deland and Z-hills is always fun. Hope all is well. Travis
  5. By my count, it was a solid ten seconds...NICE!!!
  6. I'm there! You know somebody has to keep Perry from dumping at tree-top level... See you there Z-FLOCK!!! Travis
  7. Just got back from Z-flock 1.5 and had a blast. Good organizing and a great bunch of birds, thanks for the flights and I'll see you guys soon. Maybe we can do a wingsuit weekend in Deland ...once a month, alternating dropzones? Let me know what you guys think, me and Scary are down with whatever. Travis
  8. I got an "A" for the paper and I also did a 20 min presentation w/ a two-min BASE video of mine own stuff. My professor loved it ,as well as the rest of the class. I normally don't like the "Hey look at me, I'm a BASE jumper..." attitude, but I figure the more people that are aware of how unfair the situation is, the better off we will all be. Thanks for the positive input. Travis
  9. MWG, I am relatively new BASE jumper (just under 100 jumps) and I feel very strongly about the topic along with everyone else. Here is a paper that I recently did for my own English class. It will save you some time researching the numbers involved in rescues and budgets as well as the huge number of visitors every year. If you use it, don't forget to cite it. Good luck, and be safe. Travis P.S. If anyone else has an opinion on the paper, please feel free to voice it.
  10. Do you have any slider up experience with it? Would I be correct in assuming that it also packs around the same size as a 280? Thanks for the input. Travis
  11. I would like anyone's experienced opinions on the Troll MDV vs. FOX Vtec vs. Rock Dragon(vented). I have a FOX 265 Vtec w/covers with around 70 jumps and I am looking to upsize to the 285ish range. According to the Atair website a Troll 265 flies/packs up like a 290??? It's in the way they measure it?? Any thoughts on these canopies would be great, thanks. Travis

If anyone out there has any info on obtaining a last minute Bridge Day pass please contact me at [email protected]. One would be great, two would be better. Thanks, Travis

    NPS

I was just wondering if anyone has attempted to work with any of their local NPS rangers since the article came out in Skydiving on opening up the Parks. Just curious to see if and where the interest lies so I can lend an additional voice. The more requests the better. Feel free to contact me at [email protected] Thanks, TSR
