Wingsuit Jump number 12, (skydive #302) flying a Birdman GTI yesterday sunset load. I exited at 13,700 flew my regular pattern flew balls out and after I pitched at 3,500 feet my sabre 1 170 snivled which was wierd, I was in the saddle by 2,700 and once on the ground the neptune read 133 seconds of flight and 44mph at 3 grand. Lucky enough Lurch was there to witness the read out. Thanks for the help Brian. Fly further... Ben

Thanks for the help Nick. The DBag from Apex is as long as a base container so I was a little confused. I will post pictures in the morning. I didn't know if I should just slide it in like it would look in a standard container.

I just reveived my Direct Bag from Apex, but have no idea how to pack it. Does anyone have any instructions. I emailed Apex but wanted to see if there were multiple ways to pack it. Also what is the lowest you have taken a Direct Bag jump? Thanks for your help

The microdrive works great for low altitude jumps from 300-800feet.

Actually yes I am using a micro drive... I will try a CF card if this doesn't work on the next jump.

Went out and traded up for a 20D hopefully no more issues this weekend.

Tried both of those and still not working. I tried different lenses to fix the issue but no luck. Tried different CF cards, no luck. Recharged battery over night and no luck. About to cut the camera away just to get another one.

Camera works great on the ground and in the plane. As soon as it hits the airstream my camera throws up either ERR 01 or ERR 02. I am using the stock lens and also have tried a 24mm. I have a 4gig mem stick in there. Anyone experience this besides me? Could it be a hardware issue with the camera? Thanks in advance.

Well I did a rectangular patch. Going to jump it this week and let you know if it worked or not. Thanks again for all the help. By the way I found a 31-15 in Connecticut and drove 3 hours to go get it and 3 hours to bring it back. Yeah thats right I spend my saturday's hunting for sewing machines. patch or be patched

Branch sticking out of a bush on landing cut/snag. It is on F111 so I will patch it and do a strength test to see if it directly affected the fabric strength. That is why I wanted to know why a rectangular patch wouldn't work. It would be a waste cutting out all that other fabric. Wouldn't it?
