  1. I made a couple jumps with Paul Williams, singer/composer/actor, in the 70's @ Elsinore. He signed my 500th jump. The Pillsbury Doughboy. That's what he looked like when he was all geared up in white. :D He used to hang out with us in the ghetto, with his wife Katie. My girls used to poke him in the belly and he would do the Doughboy giggle. :) So crowded, you could barely get into it. :S I also remember Patrick Swayze's brother. Didn't jump with him. :(

  2. :( Been gone a loooooong time. :( I think I remember a Curly. Was he a pilot or a mechanic? I seem to see a guy in my head that was dark haired, in light blue shirt and dark blue pants, [like a mechanic's uniform]. See him in the hanger with Larry Perkins and Walt Cleary. Am I seeing the right Curly in my head? Whatever happened to Walt? Nice man, nice kids too. We used to play Casino games on his Atari, when I lived at the Ghetto. B| Getting some flashbacks. :S Uh, maybe Curly was balding? Now entering brainlock. LOOK OUT :o I don't remember Dave. He is an angel now :) with real wings. Freefall Forever.

  9. :) Patty was just a teeny bopper. ;) Ivan and Bud look changed the most. :o When I finally get out there you will see that I'm not the sexy young thing I used to be either. ;) My hair is salt and pepper and down to my butt. [black and white] :$ My nice little butt is now a nice big butt. [:/] My face has no wrinkles, :o Thank God. If you could all just picture me at 150lbs.:( instead of 105 lbs.;) then I look kinda the same. NOT! :S Hey, looks like most of us gained weight. :P I told Don Henderson if I was 6' tall I'd look damn good, instead of the 5'2" that I really am. He cracked up, then told me how big his gut was. DAMN :o:D:D3 hrs on the phone with 007 on June 4. Just what we both needed. To talk of old times while the ash dive took place.:) I miss everyone soooooo much. I will get out to Perris as soon as my body lets me. :( I'm sure most of ya are wracked with pain and body parts that just don't work good anymore. >:( So, you know what I mean. I'm so glad that you are still able to jump. B| I would love to, but can't. >:(...Thanks again for the names and WELCOME to Air Trash Nick.....SANDY

  22. :) Alive! You said it. Whuffos used to ask me how it felt to skydive? The question that all jumpers hear all the time. I would just say that it's the biggest thrill you can have with your pants on. :$ They usually said, Wow, that good huh? :) My health? I am 3x cancer survivor. I have other problems that are keeping me from jumping. The body starts to fail as we get older. Especially when you beat the hell out of it when you're young.:D ;) I am a survivor, and will continue to be one. :P

  23. I have had cancer 3x. Cervical and both breasts and possibly again in my left lung. Just had a chest xray and the Dr. wants me to have further tests. I will be posting a thread soon about my experience with this disease. Something I feel compelled to do for everyone. Just need to sort out my thoughts before I do this thread....For now just be there for your friend, it is probably the best medicine at this point. *** In the end God takes care of all of us, and what is meant to be will be. :)

  25. :):D:D Good thread T. To any women who read this thread this is for you. In 1980 I was in the shower, doing the exam. I found a lump in each of the girls. :( Very small lumps. I had cancer. :o So I had a bilateral radical mastectomy. Caught it in time to save my life. They were able to do cosmetic surgery, so I don't look like my brother. Understand? :)
