I follow the manual. What if you slide the chest strap down a bit once you have connected your passenger if you see it's a bit too high?

Anyone have experience from tandem skydiving with people with no legs (no legs or part of legs at all). Is there a harness design that works?

Anyone who regularly takes photos with the Gopro3 now? There was an issue with the Gopro3 not producing as good photos as the Gopro2 (in the 2 per second setting or something)?

Try to buy a learning book (not a too interesting one). Study a language or something, like listen to language learning podcasts and your brain might decide sleep is easier.

If you get someone to film your landing, if you know your exact altitude for your first turn and then calculate your speed using hight and time? Personally I used input of back risers as stop for the timing. Or if you can decide exactly how long it takes to cover say 700 feet up higher and then calculate. Must be possible with Optima or Neptune? (performing 360s while timing) This is what I did (the first option) but I was my own idea so maybe ask for some advice about this first. (If it's a stupid idea I'm sure someone will point that out below soon....)

I don't think it is the wrong way around on my rig, there is some other problem. How about if I ask someone to put one more layer of webbing on like some have have on their legstraps?

Hi, My rig has CWH 2 PARTS FRENCH HARDWARE With issues that I hope I can sort out.

Thanks- will have a look in a few days I'm not using the rig at the mo. For the other posts above- I have tried all (including contacting UPT) except for cleaning the hard wear and will try that next. I had riggers look at it with no result. I put waxthread through the webbing (sent pic to UPT and they said OK) but don't think that is a good solution really longterm. I did not put the webbing wrong through the hard wear! To the person who ask who I am- PM me and I can let you know, but cant see why that matters...

I have a problem with slipping main lift web on my Sigma Micro (2011). I was advised to wash the webbing in warm water but that did not help. It slips about 2 inches every jump o both sides.

1. Safety 2. Students value for money 3.? I think you guys have a chance to show everyone here some good vids that are safe and give students value for money? Some guys provided links and I am thankful for them. Now I read a few guys criticism of them -can we see some examples of really good ones then? This issue with "playing around too much" have been an issue for many years. I think they still exist because many many DZs allow it and it's up to the cameraguys themselvs to hold back and think about the students... I am thankful for opinions and links. I got some PMed to me too. Stay safe everyone and don't do stupid stuff on tandem jumps.

It seems like you have the recepie for a good tandemvid with freeflying included and I would like to see your finished product if you would be so kind? That is just what I am after. Again, more links please:) About improving my skills when I do a tandem vid you commented on earlier. Are you yourself not improving from year to year? What is wrong with improvement? That is one of the great things with skydiving- one can always improve.

Dave (if that is your name). I am sorry I have not updated my profile for a while, I guess now that I have more then 16600 skydives (from whom 10 000 are tandems with no injured passengers) I should just stop asking questions about skydiving and start questioning peoples numbers in their profile. I should know everything about skydiving by now, really should I not? I asked once here about "the ultimate setting" for stills. Then too was my jumpnumbers questioned. Anyway- thanks for the more interesting replies. I was looking for further inspiration. I think with the experience I have it will be OK to spend 5-10 seconds of a tandem video to play around a bit, try out new tricks while keeping the tandem in frame and thinking about the light etc? If the tandem has a not slow speed I can sit fly or fly headup or whatever term to use and be as close as I can be on my belly. Somewhere out there is a person who can fly very very good and still do a very very good job. There is also people who are on their way there and I was getting on this forum to see if I can find a video of them or something that I can get inspired and learn from. I also respect a good bellyflier better then someone freeflying and doing a poor job for the customer.

I am curious for some ideas/inspiration for a tandem video routine that includes free flying/backflying that is still a good video for the customer. I know it can be done and I don't want to hear that it will always suck. I put some freeflying in my vids but I want to work towards a routine. I want to improve my flying while doing a good job for the customer. Any ideas? Any videos on youtube you can link to?

Can anyone with a rig in teal please post a photo? My friend is thinking about teal, black(or navy) and white.

Any one had a the slot for the memory card just break out of the blue? I took a card out, could not get the next card in, small plastic piece at the bottom of the slot... could be part of the mechanism for holding the card in place. Anyone had it happen? Can the card(s) be the problem? I use Sony cards, can't see anything wrong with them.... It happened to my old camera, took my spare (never used) out, 5 jumps later same thing happens to that camera. I done about 1000 jumps or so on the cx 100s so it can't be me all the sudden doing something wrong.

Anyone out there using a different plug than the one the hype-eye comes with yet? It's just sticking out too much I think.

Hi, just asking if anyone have traveled from Frankfurt airport to Bottrop (and then back to the airport)and what sort of travel you recommend? Buss or train or rent a car?
