  1. Well, wings, mirage, javelin whatever, personally I like my Vector III, superbly built, and with skyhook, see ya the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  2. Jeez, well glad to know he's still about. He looked a long long way from the tower for just a couple of brifle ties!? the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  3. Thats what i was thinking, I assume the first 500ft takes quite a while though does it due to slow speed leaving the balloon? the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  4. Hi, In continuum II a dude gets hung up on a wire from after deployment form some big antenna mast. I assume he got off alright, but does anyone know how they got him down? I'm thinking helicopter downdraft bad idea? the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  5. Hi I've been offered a balloon jump of agl between 3000ft and 5000ft. I was a little concerned about exiting at the lower end as getting out at 3000ft is my normal pull altitude! Is this normal, to people just hop and pop? the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  6. U try jumping near a water hazard with one inside your jumpsuit! Its not dangerous to wear one on the outside, in fact the majority of people do the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  7. I like to think myself situationally aware person (and having been trained and to be so under stressful environments and experienced those environments). In this situation, assuming an AAD is in use, and altitude allows (I habitually pull above 4,000 ft.) *** Fair enough, I do hope you routinely tell groups getting out after you though that you routinely pull above 4000ft the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  8. That dude thinks he's out of top gun, check the gear! the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  9. Thx for the post. With regard to not jumping through clouds, well often thats not an option. If there is cloud above 5000ft the drop planes will often operate at my DZ, unless I don't jump all day I would have to jump through cloud. Perhaps you guys could simply stay out of the DZ cone, then there would be no opportunity for collisons....there's plenty of sky out there! the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  10. Bummer, I was under a false impression that ballons and heli's were relatively common there. Oh well..... the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  11. Flying orlando, will have car happy to drive? Cheers for any advice the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  12. I think you made that word up. http://www.fas.org/news/reference/probert/PA.HTM No offence mean't the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  13. Agreed the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
  14. That is not a very good thing to remember in any situation. You just keep thinking that the toys will save your life and one day you may have a rude wake up call. Sparky If you read my reply in context to the thread, I'm not implying your cypres is somthing you should rely on. Merely pointing out that in the context of chasing an unconciuos skydiver to try and deploy either chute is difficult and dangerous and if you were not successful a cypres may well do the job for you. Don't be such a jobsworth the ideal falling motion of something subject only to a gravitational field
