  1. The most cost effective option is the bunkhouse. It's $10.00 bucks a night. The next step up would be the team rooms. They go for $40.00 bucks a night since it's effectively a mini-bunkhouse with four beds and a fridge. Both options give you a basic bed to crash in, and the shower house is just a few steps away. When I travel for work, I often stay at the Ritz Carlton, and I can say from experience these accommodations are somewhat sparse in comparison, but nonetheless it's cheap, convenient, realtively clean, and comfortable... even for my pampered ass! I'll do a team room when it's busy and want a little space/privacy, otherwise the bunkhouse is fine. I've stayed at all four of the motels that are in the 4-7 mile range: Red Roof - Typical truckstop motel. Rooms I stayed in smelled like giant urinal and/and cig smoke Super 8 - This was the cleanest of the bunch Motel 6 - Typical truckstop motel Days Inn - Hmmmm... I know I stayed there but don't recal specifics so it must not have been too bad The SDAZ web site has a page with a the details regarding on-dz and other nearby accomodations. http://www.skydiveaz.com/_facilities_data/facilities_lodging.html
  2. I'll be there, but if you saw my reply to he "boobies" poll, you know that you don't have to worry about me looking. Well okay, maybe I'll look.
  3. Hey... I have a spare room, and I live less than an hour from Eloy. So when ya wanna move in?
  4. Hahahaha... yep... you caught me! Reverse psychology so I'll get to see more boobies!
  5. I don't think I'm allowed to say it here. This is the boobie thread!
  6. I'm not really a boob guy. They just don't do anything for me, so I tend to think a nice A or B cup is perfect. More important than size is sensitivity. I'll give them all the attention a girl wants, and the better it feels for her... the more hot and bothered it gets her... the more enjoyable for me!
  7. Hmmm... could you define "good"? I've dated women who liked a few hard smacks while being serviced from behind, and others who take their spanking seriously and like to be warmed up with a belt or other suitable implement! I, of course, am happy to oblige either!
  8. Never thought I'd have a personalized plate, but then I never thought I'd have a passion for anything like I do this sport! So I recently ordered I12JUMP
  9. Exactly! Yes they do!! Thanks for that much needed dose of reality! Remi, you're not still bitter about that whole thing where they pulled me off your 8-way to go do a 4-way with Craig Girard, are ya?
  10. Here's my contribution. I'm in black and red with a sidebody on Kirk Verner, and that's Steve Iverson with a sidebody on me. The jump we planned was P-B-21-M, however Scott Pearsall apparently decided to do a little head down before we started turning points. We actually managed to turn 14 points despite the exit funnel and my tracking off at 5000 because I forgot to reset my Pro-Track from the big way the night before. Those first few jumps in the morning were a bit chilly, at least for those of us who live here and are used to jumping in Eloy when it's 115, but one of the advantages of getting an early start was the opportunity to do 4-way with the Airspeed organizers before the crowds started showing up. Photo by John Campbell... thanks buddy!
  11. Hmmmm... I'm wondering is that harder or easier to get than a 4-way exit?
  12. Lots of good and interesting thoughts. Had a similar experience with my now ex-wife. She had never had an orgasm, and I provided the same warm and gentle support. When we first met, she would never climax during sex. I discovered than when I would stimulate her manually, as she started getting close she would push away, because she didn't understand the new sensations she was feeling. When I finally helped her relax and let go... wow!! I created a monster... which, as you can imagine, was okay with me!
  13. Not obsessing... just playful curiousity.
  14. Yeah, you're prolly right. I was trying capture the metrics on frequency and gender while still posing the fundamental "how much is too much" question. This is my first poll here (beer?) so be gentle, and I promise to do better next time.
  15. So I was going over my list of "Things that make you go Hmmmm..." and decided to seek the answer to one of life's mysteries with a poll on the frequency of autoerogenous activity with gender classification. So come on, don't be shy! Just click the appropriate numeric/gender combination, and feel free to share any tips, techniques or other insight you may have on the topic. We should probably stick with averages here, just for research and comparative purposes. If you don't know your number, maybe you can try keeping track tomorrow. If you don't know your gender, we probably don't want to know your number!
  16. Actually I think I'm lost in reality... and craving tequila shots!
  17. Eloy baby! Come to the sun! I'll be jumping all day Saturday. Then, on Sunday I plan on jumping all day. When Monday rolls around, I was kinda thinking I might jump all day!
  18. Not sure how it will shake out. After talking to Jose yesterday, I got the sense there hasn't been a lot of action on the legal front as of late. Calm before the storm perhaps? I can see both sides of the thing. I suspect the main concern at FedEx is that a bunch of copy cats will run out and exhaust their global supply of shipping materials doing stuff like this. On the flip side, Jose is a brilliant software engineer. If the sole motivator was money, he could have taken the time invested in designing and building the stuff, used it to do some contract work on the side, and made some extra money for an Ikea shopping spree. I think more than anything it was just one of those things you do because you can, and because it'll be good for a little fun and a few laughs among friends. You know, kinda like when one of us says "Hey... watch this!"
  19. Wow... my very first new post! Yeah... I know... BEER! So one of the guys who works for me has been making the media rounds. Started with articles on Slashdot and Wired, was quickly picked up by many of the local radio stations, followed by several local TV stations. He has now gone national with appearances on The Today Show, MSNBC, and a few others I don't remember at the moment. http://www.fedexfurniture.com Hey... my first clicky! More beer? Heck, the closest I've come to being on television was one night several years ago. It was me and a girlfriend... naked... on the television... you know, one of those big floor models... right in the middle of the living room... and actually, we weren't really on it... we were more like bent over it... but that's a completely different topic of conversation, and so I digress!
  20. Rain? What rain? It was just a few sprinkles! I was jumping the same place as you and my numbers for the weekend were 0:14:1
  21. I got my pilots license back in April of 1995. I trained at the Flying W in Lumberton, NJ. I owned a Piper Arrow for about a year and had about 200 hours before I lost interest. I even started my instrument training at one point but just didn't have the motivation to jump through all the hoops. I made two more flights back in 1999 to get current again, and haven't flown since. I started jumping with my first tandem back in March of this year and was instantly hooked. Now I spend most of my free time jumping, thinking about jumping, or talking about jumping. I may get back into flying again some day, but right now I much prefer jumping out of them, although I will admit sometimes on the ride up I look toward the cockpit and miss being in the left seat. I can say the pilot training helped immensely with some of the fundamental concepts of canopy flight, particularly the notion of flying a standard pattern approach for landing. Of course the big difference under canopy is that you can't add power when you realize you're dropping below the glidescope.
