  1. When I try to download this attachment I get the error message "Cannot play back the video stream: No suitable decompressor could be found" Anyone know what I have to do to see this?
  2. So is the first "unattached" jump done with a BOC rig? Does this still have two instructors?. Is this the normal progression in the US or does it vary from dz to dz? So many questions - sorry!
  3. Thats what I started on last year - had to do 5 BOC conversion jumps after I had my A licence so used a ripcord up to my 17th jump. Didn't realise there was any other way!!!

Man who fight with wife all day, get no piece at night Man who tell one too many light bulb jokes soon burn out It takes many nails to build crib, but one screw to fill it. Man who sit on tack get point He who fishes in other man's well often catches crabs. Better to be pissed off than pissed on. 11. Whats the bike? if it is something fairly conventional then accepted wisdom is you would be better off selling as shipping costs and the hassle of getting it re-registered, but if its a special then I understand why you'd want to bring it out. Good, bad and ugly? - Good is some of the roads over here - especially if you take a quick hop into france there are some long, bendy, well surfaced roads with fantastic scenery and police who don't really seem to care as you flash past them at well over the ton! The bad and the ugly are easier to come up with - insurance in the UK is a nightmare (not so bad if the bike is a cruiser) - weather (goes without saying), anal retentive traffic police and speed cameras. If you are riding in London good luck - nerves of steel and eyes in the back of your head make things easier, but you do get used to it. All that said though, don't let me put you off as the biking community out here is really good - some places like Matlock in Derbyshire regularly see hundreds of bikers turning up every weekend and riding the roads around there. (Obviously only when its not jumping weather of course!) If you want to ask any specific questions email me on [email protected] and I'll do my best to help you out. Blue ones, Dave

  22. No your replies aren't getting lost - its my fault, I somehow managed to save my post twice so your answer is on the other one as well, sorry about that! Thanks for your (and everyones) replies - I think I should be able to find something to suit now - getting in touch with the Bristol University Skydive club seems like a good bet. Blue Skies, Stumpy
  23. I posted "Skydiving in England" twice by mistake - sorry about that. Don't seem to be able to delete one, can someone do this for me? Cheers
  24. Any English skydivers out there who know any good dropzones in the southwest (ish)? I last jumped a year ago in Oz (I only have 22 jumps and really need a refresher) and really want to get back into it, but don't know of any dropzones in this end of the country - anywhere within an hour or so would be good. Blue skies, Stumpy
