  1. Well, I did have a stint at Sebastian...
  2. Its supposed to be -15 degrees tonite and -50 with a windchill in NH. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. Why did I move up here from Florida???? I got to get my head checked.
  3. SDNE AFF & Tandem $32.50 Video $40.00 DZ supplies stills & leadertape
  4. Five points of contact...balls of the feet, calf, thigh, ass, across the back to the oposing shoulder.
  5. well, if pilots are 3rd on the list...where does that leave skydiving instructors??? I am sure that we are on more "flights" than pilots...although we dont land in the plane, but there are plenty of other things that could possibly go wrong. I wonder if the fatality rates include scerosis of the liver, I think that may be up for debate on who drinks more.
  6. No, but it is nice. I have never had a problem with them going off at different times. Got a protrack and prodytter. Also have two alti's, one wrist and one mounted on my leg strap for 4way and coaching. Plus, its always nice to have an extra alti in case a student's is acting funny or a meatmissle forgot theirs and they are already on the plane.
  7. can be a bit of all, depending on the time of day....
  8. When I was back in college we got some of the extra hooks for ornaments and hung beer cans on our tree...really classy. All of the high-end beers too...PBR, Milwaukees Best, Old Milwaukee...the good stuff. Ahhhhh...the memories.
  9. I think thats beer!!! Just kidding, congratulations!!!! Hope all is well with you and your family and best wishes for the new year. Shout at you later....
  10. hell, yeah, come on up. We are working on the events calender for this year. It is shaping up quite nicely, but we will post it as soon as everything is finalized. Check it out at www.skydivenewengland.com
  11. Skydive New England has the infamous "DogBone". I believe that it is 300 plus feet with 2 bowls at the end to carve out of. They have been having a redbull event there the past couple of years with the finals on Old Orchard Beach for a bunch of spectators. They are having another swooping event next year. Beautiful DZ with a kick ass vibe. Check it out, we would love to have you up there!!!
  12. wow...I dont even know where to start on that one...and its "Yahrling" by the way...I am sure that he would appreciate me correcting him on the spelling. There you go Uncle Don.

Matt Trudeau is a person that you may want to talk to...good friend of mine and is a tunnel rat over in perris too. Give him a PM at matttrudeau here at DZ.com He is more of a freeflyer, but hes got some skills and I am sure that he would be willing to get into the belly stuff. good luck.
  14. Up at Skydive New England, both JMs share the responsibility. One does the brief...the other does the debrief. Equal pay...$32.50 each. We usually split the gearing up, radio check, etc.
  15. I saw Hunter Roberts (freedom of flight freefly school) have back to back reserve rides in Deland. Yep, its odd, but not unheard of... There maybe packing issues (my opinion) or you could be lucky, so you may want to try the lottery...or, quite possibly...I have seen a few students cut away perfectly good canopies before...one of them said they had a "double lineover"...it was on his hop and pop and I exited just after him to watch and give a him a flyby for a congratulations...so I couldnt have been closer seeing a student cutaway a perfectly good canopy. Are you sure that they were indeed lineovers??? If they were, congratulations...you saved yourself...twice...you are probably more current on cutaways than the majority of the instructors on the DZ!!!
  16. yeah, I suggested that but he seems to have some sort of "conscience" or something like that...
  17. Jason Milewski is the Airport Manager...he is in charge of the day to day operations of the local airport.
  18. A buddy of mine cutaway his brand new Sabre2 in the woods of maine. He had homeowners insureance and he had to eat it. They said that if it was stolen, then they would have paid for it, but since he cut it away, he was out of luck. So if anyone needs a brand new Sabre2 170...come on up and take a look...only on Sundays though...no deer hunting on sundays!!!
  19. I always tell people when they borrow my gear, no matter what it is, "you break it...you buy it."
  20. Yeah, I dont know if they have a website, but they do make a bitchin freefly suit...really sharp!!! You may want to PM some of the people in Deland...RayDutch or Magikchild, etc. They would have Nancy's number. I used to have her card, but I lost it...I will see if I can find it though.
