G'day all, Is anyone able to post a photo of a rotatable AFF Training Table that you use at your DZ? I am thinking of the table that students practice their dive sequence on at approx four foot above the ground. My DZ is in need of one and I am looking at getting one fabricated by a local metal worker. Any photo posts would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately I am unable to hit up the Resellerratings webpage through my work computer otherwise I would not be asking the following.......... Has anyone out there had any experience with the Ebay stores ""Stringray Electronics" or Digital Innovations Inc"? I have a guy at my home DZ who is looking at getting into flying a lens and found what I consider to be "too good to be true" deals advertised by these vendors. The camera setup in particular is a Sony HC-9. My initial thought on these two dealers was caveat emptor........ Like most of you who post here, I always recommend B&H or Adorama for reliability, reputation and service. I have not had any experience with the two stores that I mentioned and any advice/experience that could be shared I would greatly appreciate. Blues, Stu W If it didn't happen on camera, it didn't happen!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd recommend (and fly) the EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Autofocus Len from Canon. It's a little draining on the wallet and heavy on the head but takes nice wide piccies for the customer. Blues, Stu W

Jerry, Thanks for the reply. PM sent that better outlines what I am looking for. Blues, Stu W

Fellow Riggers, Is anyone able to post (or PM me) a digital image of a single X-Box stitch with an oversew top and bottom (similar to the attached jpeg)? The only one I have been able to locate that comes close came from Poynters Vol I. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Blues, Stu W

Skydive Ramblers, located near the township of Toogoolawah, would definitely be the choice of DropZones in the Brisbane region if you are looking at jumping your arse off. They are the largest DZ in the area and operate three Cessna Caravans but one is normally permanently at Byron Bay. Occassionally they will fly two ship loads on weekends. The jump crowd is awesome. http://www.ramblers.com.au Skydive Bryon Bay is good but doesn't have the facilities that can be found at Ramblers however the township of Bryon Bay is awesome as it is the backpacker/tourist mecca of Oz. Awesome surfing too!! http://www.skydivebyronbay.com There are a number of smaller DZ's in the Brisbane region. A personal favourite of mine is the Brisbane Skydiving Centre, near the town of Willowbank, that operate two C-182's. Really great DZ crowd and friendly to boot. http://www.BrisbaneSkydive.com.au Hope you have an absolute blast DownUnder. Blue ones, Aussie Stu

Guys, Thanks for taking the time out to provide info and web addresses for DZ's in the Virginia area. I'll be sure to drop into Skydive Orange and Skydive the Point during my time in Virginia. These DZ's look awesome!! Do either of these DZ's have anything planned for the weekend of 1 - 2 July 2006. Thanks in advance, Blue ones, Disco Stu

Guys, Thanks very much for your replies. Glad to hear that Skydive the Point speaks fluent Australian because I think I'll struggle with learning American!! Checked out the webpage. Looks awesome and I'm looking forward to launching there. Blue ones from DownUnder, Disco Stu

Hi All, I'm seeking advice on DropZones in the state of Viriginia. As a bit of background I am moving to Virginia (from Australia) in late June and am expecting to live in Richmond for the next two and a half years. Down Under I hold a "D" license (~300 jumps), Packer A (Main and Reserves) and an AFF Instructor rating with the Australian Parachute Federation (our equivalent to the USPA). I am looking for a DropZone with a friendly atmosphere, professional crowd and preferably larger aircraft (am thinking Twin Otter, 750 XL, King Air for example). Additionally, is anyone aware of a DZ that has something planned for your long weekend in July (US Independence Day and all). Am looking for possibly Big Ways or CReW dogging. It would be a great way to spend my 30th!!!!! Thanks in advance. Blue ones, Disco Stu
