I completelt forgot I started this thread (6 years ago!!! ). Glad to hear that you are still working toward your goal Jeb. I can't wait to see it when it happens. Alright- just saw this posted on the web. On October 4th (on CBS) Ken Shamrock will fight Kimbo Slice. Personally, I can not stand Shamrock- so I am really hoping he gets his head knocked off. But- what are your thoughts? If Ken can mount any form of ground game, Kimbo could be in some real trouble. Then again, if Ken decides to stand with Kimbo (due to his ailing knees, and not being able to get a good shot) I think this is gonna be a real short night. My vote is for Kimbo by knockout. I'd like to hear other opinions. Discuss.

According to ufc.com- Mir/Noguiera will still fight for the interim heavyweight belt (by right they really can't take it away). Lesnar/Couture will fight for the official heavy weight belt. Then the winner of those two fights will fight, unifying the heavyweight division back to one belt. I would say it makes the most sense to do that. Plus you give the fans an extra title fight to watch. My predictions now are Lesnar defeating Couture, and Noguiera defeating Mir (although I'm about 60/40 with that prediction). Either way, its gonna make it interesting. If you look at the previous trends in the UFC for who gets title shots- it's not typically who deserves the shot- it's who may deserve it, ubt who is going to draw the crowd. Im calling Evans/Griffin now. Two Ultimate Fighters finally meeting up for the belt? That would draw a crowd. And as far as Evans goes....it's only going to take someone pressuring him in the first round to end his undefeated streak. And Griffin is definitley the guy who could do it. I was trying to figure out what he'd do- drop to middleweight (probably not, seeing as how he'd have to face Silva sooner or later- and that would end bad)- go up to heavyweight (really bad idea seeing as how he'd have to face Lesnar ssoner or later, and that would be bad). He's sticking at light heavy- but I really don't see much left for him. I think you might see him fight 2-3 more fights, and then retire. I don't see Chuck in the title fight anymore. Unfortunatley, you gave them probable cause to pull you over. You avoided a checkpoint. If you have nothing to hide- go through the checkpoint. I worked for a police department- trust me- they are looking for people to avoid the checkpoint. That is reason enough alone to pull you over. I agree that a swiss army knife is not a weapon- however when asked if you had any weapons you should have responded "No- but am carrying a Swiss Army pocket knife that is in my *whatever* pocket." Almost a gaurantee that they would have not taken it. Finally- you allowed them to search your car. And wjile although it sounds like they were idiots- Im sure your responses to them had alittle bit of attitude behind them. As far as getting the knife back- I highly doubt it. I would assume that they did not collect it as evidence- so it probably went into one of thier pockets. And I'm sure they're not going to own up to it. It's been a while since I posted- I know I put on a few since then, so I'll just start with my new numbers. Beginning weight- 270 Weigh in ths week- 265 Loss- -5 pounds So that's 15 pounds to go till my first jump. Ok, so my computer i about 4 years old, and starting to show signs of its age (it lags when I have more than one program open, and in general is slowing down becasue I have so much shit on it). So my wife and I are thinking abou getting a new computer. This oe would be given to my kids (and hold my wifes Itunes Library) and the new computer would be ours and hold my itunes library. I keep hearing how great Macs are, an how shitty PC's are, but whnever I ask someone to explain why, I can't get a straight answer). So please chime in- pick which you would buy and tell me why. I really need the input. The computer is mostly used for internet access, Music (I DJ, so my itunes library is over 3400 songs and rowing everyday), and Photoshopping. I thank you all for your help. I want to see Hughes beat GSP. Its wierd that the winner will be crowned the interim champ until Serra can fight again. I personally don't want to see Serra vs GSP again. It wasnt a fluke- if you know anything about Serra, you know it wasnt a fluke. I would have preffered to see him submit GSP, but the knockout works too.
