  1. When I was much younger, I met a girl at a party and went up to her her and said "I betcha a dime I can kiss you without touching you" she said "I'd like to see that" so I swooped her back and gave her the hottest, most passionate kiss I could muster, stepped back and flipped her a dime and said "oops, I lose". She said that was the best one she ever heard. We ended up dating for a few months afterwards.
  2. Larry, if airing your dirty laundry on the internet is your attempt at recovery, I would suggest you find another way of reaching your goal. You are probably unaware that when you made the decision to swoop over the Officers and Shindig's body, announcement or no announcement it was a poor decision, one of the Officers said to John "can't you control your skydivers?" John had no choice but to confront you on it. Obviously only you and he know the details of that conversation but it did apparantly end with you no longer being welcome there. As far as other comments you have made here, do you really believe Shindig's wife's tandem on the ash jump was BS? I don't think she shares your feelings on that. That was her first jump and her comment back on the ground was that she now understands Rick's love of skydiving. You make mention of John's heart attack and divorce, his divorce was years ago, Larry. John has been in a good, commited relationship for the last few years so I don't see how his divorce had anything to do with that day. And your comment of John and his cronnies dressed for a laua party at Rick's ash dive / memorial? Are you being for real? Most everyone, myself included, were dressed casually. I don't think there was any disrespect being shown. In fact, every Officer and Marine I spoke with were all moved by the memorial. John does not come onto this website and is unaware of the attacks you've made on him and is therefore not in a position to defend himself or rebut your statements, but, and this is the important part, he shouldn't have to. This is an internet forum you have chosen to do this in and John would not come down to this level you have decided to play on. Larry, I suggest you back away from the keyboard for a while and think this all the way through.
  3. Larry, this is the second time in these forums you have decided to bash John. He won't return your e-mails or phone calls? Then do as I suggested last time and go out to the dropzone and talk to him. What do really hope to accomplish by trash talking him on an internet forum? Are you looking for support with your version of the events of that day and the three weeks prior? At least the last time you did this the mods took your posts down, I hope they do it this time as well. I really do not appreciate going on line here and reading all the shit you are writing about my friend. Again, is there a point behind what you are writing or are acting out of spite? John
  4. I got a similar e-mail from a friend, but it ended with: A recent study found the average adult walks 900 miles in a year. Another study found the average adult consumes 22 gallons of alcohol in a year. That means the average adult gets 41 MPG!
  5. Man. I got a bunch of NASTY PMs when I posted that joke awhile back. Good luck. Checked my PM's....so far, so good.
  6. What do you say to woman with two black eyes? Nothing, you done told her twice!
  7. I'm not typically a fan of Billy Joel's but when I hear Just the Way You Are, man, that one gets me weepy. Probably cause it takes me back to a time and place and people.
  8. Like some folks have said, go to a local auto parts, for me it's Auto Zone, where you can use their scanner for free and jot down the codes and Google them to find out what they mean and if it's an easy fix. I did that when my Tundra's engine light came on and found it was a massive emission leak. After Googling the code and reading what people had to say about it, I went out and put my gas cap on right and the light went out.

    Perris folks

I saw the whole thing. Cruising home from work and thought that was the biggest dust devil I've ever seen but then thought "That's either a huge dust devil or a little tornado". The big rig was on it's side across all lanes and cars were having to single file around it on the shoulder. The other side of the freeway, my side, is where the train cars were knocked over and one car knocked over a power pole into a tree that started a fire. It was just insane to watch it all happening. Then the radio station interrupted the music with the announcement of a tornado touching down. The tornado went across the freeway just south of March's air museum next to the freeway. It came pretty close to damaging or destroying some beautiful old birds.
  10. What if you've already promised you will never die?

    my new Porche

Yeah, I dig the older models too. I've got a '76 912E and just got my son a '72 914. Both are a blast to drive, very different handling tho, and they're easy to work on. Because of Porsche's history in Rally racing, they found that split seconds could be saved when the driver got in the car and put it in gear with the right hand while starting it with the left hand. That's why the ignition is on the left side of the steering wheel.
  14. My daily ride is a 2005 Toyota Tundra access cab (the suicide doors) SR-5 Limited with the TRD off road package. Easy cruising truck, about to turn 30K on the odo. But my baby that was my daily ride is '76 Porsche 912E. Now that I've got my truck, I can let my Porsche be the garage queen she wants to be. A lot of fun to drive.
  15. I'm sure meant right before you cum, cause right after you cum it's "go make me a sammich!"
