Got this recipe from my brother for BBQ sauce. Didn't believe until I tried it. Just about as easy as it gets and you are almost guaranteed to have the ingredients. I started reasearching as soon as I started AFF. I bought a used rig off of DZ.com with the advice of my rigger. I had it by the time I completed AFF. It needed some minor repairs/mods. I slowly downsized and jumped it on #27. I love the fact that I no longer have to wait my turn renting during a busy weekend. Saving on the rental costs means more jumps.

I'm live in the SF bay area and kind of stuck. My car takes premium and I'm lucky to have"cheap" gas near work. I'm paying $2.47. I have seen as high as $2.89 for premium. I don't think you used a big enough smoke bomb. What has worked well for me in the past is to use road flares. Find a couple of the holes, light the flares off, stick them in and cover the openings. It creates a toxic gas and burns up the oxygen in the tunnels. You won't believe how many more openings you will find as the smoke starts to build. Do it at night for a light show. I believe in instant gratification. This is the second weekend in a row of clouds & rain in the SF bay area. Suffering major withdrawal from lack of jumping. Thanks for the greets all. Was hoping to go to Byron this weekend, but the weather isn't cooperating. Last week was the same. I sat at Hollister for two days hoping for the skies to clear. As I sit here looking at my rig sitting by the door, all I can think of is a nice flair and landing on target center. During student status, had to use the only XL protec at the DZ, and it barely fit. Went on a tour of DZs looking for a helmet to fit over my big melon and pointy chin. Not a single full face was up to the task. While at Perris, pulled on a Gunner and it was nice, but looked like it might be hard to attach a camera(way in the future) over the ear bulge. Next tried the pimp daddy. Perfect fit without baking it. Room on one side for camera mount. Bought one and can't believe how quiet and comfy it is. Plenty of room for internal audible. Can get a bit warm, but no reason not to buy. I think I'll get the optional chin cup to replace the strap/fastex clip. Bonehead makes a great helmet.

Have to agree on the paraglider port at La Jolla. Nice coastline view. Visit Mt Soledad above La Jolla at sunset, it has a 360 degree view towards Mexico, to the east county, up towards LA and the Pacific Ocean. Great view at night with all the lights. There is a real dive bar in the Gas Lamp Quarter called Dick's Last Resort. I think they have the yard long beer there. If you have lots of time, the polar bears at the zoo are worth a visit, but then again, I'm a sucker for furry animals. Cheers 50 donations so far. Give it a try.
