  5. Hi - I have sewn cross connectors in a loop on each side inside the top of the risers. No problems but always have a hook knife avail just in case...you could also use french links and then they are removable if you like. I would not use the slinks - leave those alone - they are for your lines and most times have a tack to keep the slink closed and in place. Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI
  6. This is exactly what I want to do to our Cessna 182 for the forward jumper (and the other jumpers too). Did you have to do a 337 for the full load question for the seat belt attachment point? Our other seat belt attachment points are the same, being in the floor. The Minor Alteration is a 337 - what tail number did you do this on? thanks Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI
  7. Thanks, but this then requires the addition of the cargo track, which may be expensive... Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI
  8. Thanks - he replied and has not done this. But John King has and I will talk to him. Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI
  9. Thanks. Ya, I have considered the seat belt attachment and was asking. John King said he has done this so I will talk to him. thanks againQuote Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI
  10. I'm looking to change the 2 attachment belts to one's that are in an otter (single attachment seat belts). Has anyone done this? Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI

  13. Well, my idea was to make the thickness less along with the sliperyness of the spectra. I used a y-mod (see pic) to stop the bridle from coming back out on a wrap. Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI
  14. I took the dacron up to the pin pull point (and finger trapped a small loop at the endQuote) and then put spectra the rest of the way - has worked for me for 100's and 100's of jumps. Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI
  15. Hi everyone, Unfortunately we ran into some issues with aircraft and organizer scheduling. In order to make sure that we have planes to jump out of and organizers to put loads together, we have moved the boogie to August 8th-11th. Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI
  16. POPS CRW World Record! Hi there crwdawgs and crwdawgettes – This year at the WI Cheese Boogie (Aug 21-25, 2013) we are planning to do a 36-way POPS World Record! Mike Lewis has confirmed to be the pilot and organizer. The previous WR was done in 2003 at CSS and was a 28-way. This record will have the distinction of being 3 records at once – POPS CRW World Record, POPS CRW WI Record, and USPA CRW WI Record. We will be using PD Lightnings at 1.3-1.4 wing loading. We will probably only get one shot at this (well, maybe 2) (on Thurs and Friday because of planes and time used at the boogie). We need to have you fill out a registration form to apply for a slot and be a POPS member (form at thepops.org) before the event (we will reply email if you are accepted). You will also have to register with the Cheese Boogie (www.skydivemilwaukee.com/calendar), when registration opens. Please fill this out and email it back to me or contact me at [email protected]. 18. Thanks!. I was one of the last ones out of the first plane. Was a blast, but it was a longgggg time before the 2nd pass arrived. Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI
  19. I couldn't find it... Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI
  20. Nice rendition...I think that we should of took our time building the formation, so it wouldn't fall out of da sky as fast, so that it would give more time for the 2nd plane to climb. Also, didn't the cameraman forget his camera on the 2nd load and have to go back to get it? Seven Hills Skydivers of Madison, WI
