  1. There are at least 2 more Birds that are not on the list but will be there... Finally something at my home DZ!!! I believe the current record for Chester is 5 or 6 birds in the air!
  2. I got mine at Bass Pro Shops, Stearns multipurpose Inflata-belt Lite model # 0340. It was about $60.00. You can order it from their website if you don't live near one. It doesn't really interfere with flying much but it beats the hell out of drowning. The wind usually blows down the beach there, worst case scenario you are landing slightly cross wind. Lots of obstacles (hot chicks in bikinis) and no outs. One word of advice....careful with the bushwackers, you'll wake up on the beach with no recollection of how you got there See you there!
  3. I have to agree, this argument is ridiculous. It reminds me of when I was married, no matter what you do you're wrong. Hay Tony, should I be offended that you have not yet offered wingsuits specifically for amputees or should I wait and complain after you do?
  4. I'm glad my pack job worked I'll be out this weekend maybe we can figure something out!
  5. I have had my Neptune for about 4 years now and I have not had any issues with it. I would recommend it to anyone. I know the earlier software versions had some bugs so I have always updated mine when revisions became available. As far as battery life is concerned if you use a quality battery like a Duracell I have found that it will last over a year for me. If you buy a cheap battery (like I did once) it only lasted a few months.
  6. In my Phantom I'm usually around 43 mph, the best time I have seen so far is 158 seconds from 14200 to 3000. I am about 190 lbs out the door. If I wasn't missing half my right leg and could point that toe to stretch the suit I could probably add a few seconds to that
  7. Thanks for the info, so far two birds from my dropzone are planning on making it down! 1. Scott B. (Notsane) 2. Mike M. (Gray Mike) C. Sean H. (Monkycndo) 4. Scott Gray (The Brothers Gray) 5. Chris Gray (The Brothers Gray) 6. Justin Shorb (Flock U) 7. Ryan Desjardins (Soon to bee Canadian Flocker) 8. Bob Futrell (FlyinBob) 9. Mark M 10. Phil Peggs 11. Matt Hoover 12. Mike Rinehart (Missingparts)
  8. I'll be there! Where is a good place to stay thats close to the dz? I'm not real big on camping
  9. I don't know anyone who counts the small tab but what really matters is what works for your rig. I have a phantom and a wings container, I skip the third large wing tab in the front and the third large body tab in the back. Mike
  10. Here are a couple of my favorite pics, I cant think of anything better than standing in the door of the otter with my friends deciding which clouds to chase down.
  11. The ankle is fixed at 90*, there is no easy way I could think of to add a pivot to the ankle. I feel sure it can be done but for simplicity sake the suit was cut to where it has tension on it with the ankle at 90*. It is very stable and flies straight, I couldnt be happier with it unless it had jet engines on it! On a side note, I just got this new leg and it was nearly $19,000.00 so I dont really want to go modifying it. Mike
  12. Yes, I am also a bk amputee and I have about 40 wingsuit jumps. I put about 30 jumps on a prodigy (thanks to Base700) and the rest on my new phantom! When I ordered my phantom I spoke with Robert about my leg and he relayed the information to Robi who suggested that we try cutting the suit slightly different for me since I cannot point the toes on my rt leg. It fits like a glove, I can hang out for a couple of minutes or burn a line across the sky..........
  13. I ordered a phantom in september, they sait there was about a 8 week wait at the time. Hopefully it will be here soon.
