  1. What Jon D for Dickhead Corzine probably doesn't grasp is that shit like that is already illegal in the people's republic of zoo jersey anyway. NJ's ban was used as the model for the It's A Crime, Bill. This is a move to ban gangbanger weapons of choice like the .500 S&W revolver, the .454 Casull and other similar firearms. Next to go will be those evil T/C Contender "portable assault sniper pistols".... that state needs an enema.
  2. owned/own a couple Not the happiest with Colt due to labor and politics...and nonstandard pins Bushmaster is OK, Rock River Arms and DSA very good, not a big DPMS fan for customer service reasons. Whatever you get, keep it clean, find magazines that work reliably(99% of the problem with an AR, in my experience) I would not suggest using Wolf or other Russian 5.56mm ammo due to the laquered steel cases. Surplus GI ammo is pretty easily found, and yes you want a 5.56mm chamber in yours so you can shoot 5.56mm and .223. Some Olympic Arms ARs had .223 chambers as well as Bushy and Colts having one or the other (I believe). Good luck with it, they become an addiction.
  3. Kevin, I may be getting my job back, hope against hope. Please lets keep trying on this.
  4. Kevin, Work kicked me in the ass about as hard as it could today, since today turned out to be my last day. I'm still interested in the program this summer, gonna have to do it on my own $. I hate Mondays.
  5. Yup, Kennedy nailed it. It's hard to get some people to understand that select- fire AKs aren't the deer hunting weapon of choice, nor what your local Crips rob stores with. Most crime is committed with cheap/stolen POS handguns, and .gov studies bear this out. Yet, those who can't fathom why anybody would want one of "those" guns, or any for that matter, feel the need to ban anything remotely politically correct. Makes me want to vomit.
  6. Kevin, fair enough, work is kinda kicking me in the ass at the moment too. I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks
  7. I looooove to piss off the libbos in the college town here by calling it Rhodesia...
  8. Zenister, I am waiting on Kevin to get back to me with particulars, he's pretty busy at the moment. When I know more, I'll share.
  9. What about the 152mm chemical arty rounds that the Iraqis had (and one injured an EOD tech, so no whining about "no Iraqi wmds)? The Sovs made 152mm nuke rounds too. they're easily vehicle portable...if you can get it here.
  10. I don't suppose there's any chance of a mass escape attempt through the minefield between gitmo and the rest of cuba?
  11. Jesse, The question is, where does it end? I think you'd probably find that the majority of those gun owners bent over backwards to comply with the laws. The important thing you're not exactly seeing is that criminals are criminals because they break laws. Rapists don't care about rape laws, murderers about laws against murder, etc. Why punish law abiding gun owners?
  12. Glock 18 (like a 17 with the fun switch) Stetchkin (fuuuuuuuuuuuuun) Beretta 93R (tuuuuuuuurd)
  13. remember, those are the weapons of choice for criminals.... I live in a curio and relic state now, or else it would be "how long do I have to save for an M16?" Knob Creek is a hell of a place to go. Anybody who goes and doesn't testdrive a Thompson doesn't have a hair on their @$$.
  14. and the gf wonders why we aren't going to honeymoon in Aust.
  15. IIRC, there is some provision in most states/ fed gov for restoration of 2nd Amendment rights in individual cases, but the ATF just doesn't fund their end of it=nullification. As far as what the 2nd should cover, my vote goes up to medium crew-served. Stuff like M240s, M2s, Mk 19s, 81mm mortars, AT4s, etc. Nice to dream, isn't it?
