  5. I have two chest reserve rides. #1 26' navy conical unmodified. It oscillated smoothly, and I touched down in an up-swing, almost a standup landing. #2 same canopy with the 4-line release added. Smooth soft standup landing in a lady's front yard.

  10. Made a lot of jumps with these fine folks back in the late 60's early 70's. Both at the DZ in Dickenson and then in Hitchcock, TX.

  17. You are welcome! I remember the transformers popping, and the small grass fire. Made two jumps that day myself, in between trips to Sam's club.
  18. I guess that because the date of the 'event' has passed it is no longer available. There were about 25 of the Old Farts from Texas in attendance this year. Most everyone was jumping during the 60's and 70's. Some of us are still active!
  19. Cheapo's or rags were called that because they were military surplus canopies and cost much less money than a brand new PC or Pap.
